Hello all, Saint here. For this thread, promote your story with a soundtrack. It can be original music, music found on the web that you feel fits your story and/or inspires you while writing, or a mix of both (be sure to give proper credit to the original artist).

Here's a playlist I created using music I've listened to while writing my story and doing illustrations for it (Music not owned or created by me. All rights and credits go to the original artist and uploaders):

Also, a little side note if anyone knows of some nice melancholic and/synth or other "cyberpunk" inspired music, I'd appreciate the recommendations .

Hey,

Thanks for making this thread. For me, Silent Whispers is currently a work in progress with Origins Part 2 in work! However, since this is more of a collection of a series fo interrelated short stories and spoken word, giving the synopsis of the work might have a better time explaining it as it gives off the summary that the book would be about.

In this technologically advanced generation where we are continuously connected yet constantly isolated, the feeling of invisibility can be quite deafening as a result. Even so, when night falls, people from all walks of life gather at this particular place. A blissfully tranquil land where any memories can be found amongst countless levitating, multicoloured bubbles. Nevertheless, there was once a girl with an enchanted quill who stood in the fragile veil between these contrasting worlds... Determined to record and make known the symphonies of the countless travellers who have traversed the land. Who knows? Your symphony may be lying in wait amongst her collection...

And now that's out of the way, I also have a Spotify playlist (It's still in progress, going to add more songs as I go) that I listened to while I make this collection, since each of the songs reminds me of either a certain idea or the general vibe it covers.

I do think that this Instrumental always represent the story overall (Even the unreleased part), because It has the energetic side of it's MC with his companions, but also some calmer parts (Keeping the tempo) regarding the serious parts, and then the more energetic referring t0 the theme of overcoming ones' obstacles in life.

And the song style also fits the fact that, despite being a Fantasy, it has Sci-fi roots, so, not medieval, and not even too Techno.

Stories from the Golden Garden is a story of a young kid called Alfredo, whose entire existence, directly or indirectly, influenced the lives of the people around Him, either leading them to change, or fall, as We get a glimpse of this changes, while seeing THEIR Stories; After being separated by His mother For 6 Years, and being given a new Home and a New Family, Alfredo has to deal with his fears and his Traumas, while awakening an Odd power that will help Him protect those dear to Him, and change the fate of Gaia, a Fantasy world, whose roots are of Sci-Fi origins.

Heya! I love music and have tons of songs that remind me of my stories. But I do indeed make my own original soundtrack! slides my tuneage in I use Ableton Live, a Yamaha keyboard, and my voice. (I've also fooled around with more basic programs like Garageband, Synth I, and Magix.)

Nice work! The second and third song actually sounds like the type of music I think would fit within my story if it where to be a show of some kind.

For Sickboy: these are a bunch of bands I enjoy listening to, I just threw the songs together to make it easier so forgive the playlist flow.

I guess Darkwave usually has moody n synth-ish vibe one of the YouTube mixes I usu listen to:

One of my other projects is a superhero/ cyberpunk not released yet
