Hi Everyone!

This is a thread for sharing Slice of Life and/or Psychological comics and novels. I write and draw exclusively for these two genres, so I'd love to meet artists who are also interested in these two genres!

I'm also writing a novel with the same protagonist, called "The Greatest American Novel Ever Written."

In this novel, writer, comedian, and lawyer Sam Abramov reimagines his life as a series of what-ifs. What if he hadn't become a lawyer? What if he had become the actor he felt he was always meant to be? Side-splittingly hilarious and shockingly candid, "The Greatest American Novel Ever Written" explores Sam's desires, regrets and various complexes, including and especially his obsessive desire for fame and recognition.

I'm working on a psychological drama/slice of life comic, although I have to warn you that it's rated R and focuses heavy themes, so read at your own discretion.

My novel Jade Kingdoms is definitely psychological fantasy/horror focussing heavily on the strain of toxic relationships and politics, and the effects of generational trauma.

It's actually more fun than it sounds. XD

So I have this:
Which is a short story, being psychological/Suspense. It's already finished with the chapters publishing once a day for a few days more.

Then I have this:
Which is just an anthology that is mostly slice of life in a delicate and emotional sense

Slice of life is such a wide genre idk... I put mine under this genre cause it's not a drama and not a comedy ...and thankfully tapas have separate BL genre even though bl can be comedy or drama or killing psychologcal horror...

My comic is a mix of slice of life and modern fantasy!

The comic is about a young girl that gets kicked out of an orphanage for her unpredictable powers and ends up getting taken in by a shapeshifter into a mish-mashed adopted family. she has to learn what it means to be herself, be part of a family, and uncover whatever the family's butler is hiding before its too late!

The comic has got aspects of modern fantasy, mystery, found family, and slice of life (as well as tiny bits of science fiction but thats far from the main focus). I'd probably rate it at PG-13 (specific Pages with PG-13 content are flagged as such in the episode tittles as well)
