First off, hello! I am new here and to webcomics.

Apologies if I should not have started a new topic, but I wonder if you could help with a question?

I just started publishing my first comic on Webtoon and I want to publish here too but is it a good idea to post on both platforms? I am new to the community and keen to follow some norms!

Thanks
Mick

Welcome to Tapas! A lot of artists post on several platforms. I wouldn't worry too much about that. It's not encouraged, I believe, if you have a contract signed with another platform.

Even more than that, it is a good idea. It means more people will see your work.
If you have a signed contract on a comic with another platform, it's impossible to post on another one by contract, so it shouldn't be your concern at all

short answer yes, long answer still yes, do it.
if one is outperforming though, don't overextend yourself energy-wise.

Thanks @DogshitJay! I had to reply to such a self-defecating name :joy:

Also good point about over extending oneself - I have a habit of over estimating the work I can get done each week

totes! and getting familiar enough with a platform to succeed takes quite a bit of time/effort
