Question about drawing proportions from tablet

Hello. Hope everyone is doing well.

So I do a bit of drawing now and then on my iPad air. I have an apple pen, and so I am able to do little bits of art with the little things I know.

However, I notice that when I am drawing on medibang or another app I can't remember, and I try to zoom in for details but it's like the picture is way too big and even the smallest size pens are all so ... blurred together. I can have the biggest size paper for medibang, yet even if I try details for a larger drawing, I feels like I can't do any details without it looking super close together and just -- gross. For example, I would have these choppy looking close together lines on like a 3 point line or whatever.

Any advice on proportions? Is there another app I should try? I don't one of the nice drawing board things, so I think that makes it a little more difficult for details, but any advice would be great. Thank you! ;-;

Yeah, screenshots would be great and also some specs like what size document you're using, what DPI and brush size etc.

Just to add another question, is blurry and choppy when you're zoomed in or zoomed out? It's going to look blurry and pixelated zoomed in if you are very close but it generally goes away once you've zoomed out to the actual page size.

I recommend using the Procreate app. It didn’t take me long to get used to it, and now I use it more than Photoshop - especially for sketching.
