@joannekwan In the "doodling" stages myself on my iPad; right now I mainly want to use it to draw standalone pieces(pinups/pose pics)...down the road after I've gotten more adjusted then I might start using it towards working on comic pages. I want to be able to use it instead of carrying my laptop(and tablet) to work all the time to work on pages during my "lulls" between work tasks(use Dropbox as the conjunction between tablet & laptop).
I have an Intuos medium tablet that I've been using since 2015 and been putting some serious mileage on it, so I may pick up a new tablet between next year & 2021 depending on how much longer the Intuos holds up. Debating on a Cintiq coz I dont wanna bother with switching out drivers- especially if I connect it to the laptop, but looking at other screened tablets as well coz of the money I could save by going with another brand.
@silverraven0 the 6 months free only comes with the EX version on iPad. I picked the EX version, but next month is my last "free" month- I think I'm gonna drop down to the pro version. I really dont need all that for a tablet, and the pro version for iPad is about $5 bucks. I'm in that zone where I'm looking at all the money I'm paying for subscription stuff and trying to keep payments as low as possible wherever I can.
I got a paper like protector sheet- paid about $20 bucks for it from Amazon.
