I judge comic art in the following ways.
Consistency. Drawing weird hands the same way each time simply means you draw weird hands.
Competence. You can draw your weird hands in the first place.
Aesthetics. I like the way your weird hands look.
This is equally as subjective as doing a 1-10 ranking, but I feel it addresses the problems comics artists have more accurately.
