Readers in the spotlight?

Wouldn't it be nice to put a reader in the spotlight?

I think there are a lot of readers (none-creators) whose comments always make you laugh, think or just go... Wha?? And afterall readers are our audience, who help us get inspired to make even more comics.

Brainstorm:
Wouldn't it be nice to put them in a spotlight and thank them? A reader of the month section?
Meaby even on the homepage? Tapastic crew, if you're reading this ...

How awesome would it be for a reader to find your wall covered with fanart!!
So question is; wich reader inspires you and would you like to thank?

Do you get a lot of comments, or do you comment on a lot of comics? Because I rarely get any comments (I have 4 total). I appreciate all of them (some of them are really funny), but I don't have anybody like what you're describing.

I love getting comments. I have some readers that comment on most pages, and I just want to hug them and talk to them and keep them forever with me //sometimesigettoattached
But there are also people who like my every single page. It's also improtant~ as sometimes you don't know how to comment, right? But likes show me 'hey, i've read it, keep going!' sooo I love those subscribers as well ; v;
Yeah, it would be great to thank them somehow~

I'm working on a ongoing series which i update every week... so people tend to come back around. And after a while it's clear some are staying and commenting. Really helps me to keep me motivated. So i try to respond to most of the comments. Try to be as active on Tapastic as i can. I have a readinglist of some 150+ comics and overall i see a lot of the same faces. Whenever i see a comic that i liked, i'll try to comment. A little comment is less work than the time it took to make a comic. And as a creator i know how much those comments are appreciated.

Comments are awesome! And everyone of them is much appreciated! Even if it's just a "waaaaat" or whatever Someone took the time to read your comic and tried to make contact! Meaby even on the other side of the world. That's like alien life forms found! THAT's just awesome! (ok, meaby i'm getting old, but i thinks that's amazing) I was indeed thinking of a way to thank the readers. I agree mentioning them here would not be the best way. But meaby just a little corner with "comment of the month" Also to activate readers more to comment.
