I'm not an artist, but I have two characters from my book cover and four from a concept sketch. Feel free to pick any or none! Good luck with your recovery!!

Amari (left) is a grumpy but sweet blind kid, and Yangyang (right) is cheerful and kind, and often an anxious idiot.

Sam (top left) is an ex-gangster who never smiles and isn't good with emotion (but is really a big softie), Jack (top right) is happy-go-lucky and always smiling, Squirrel (bottom left) is a little, gender-fluid, ball of cheerful energy, and Ellie (bottom right) is a mousey, curious, but mostly expressionless 4-year-old.

Sure thing I would love to see your take on any of them

I'll submit Colletta for consideration

She's a sorceress that can materialize fire at will. She's also a fashion designer/seamstress by trade.

"Spunky Day-Drinking Grandma" is another way she is often referred to xD She has a carefree attitude and doesn't let her age get in the way of her going on adventures or having a good time.

i took a look at your comic for additional reference for this character, and i drew her with normal eyes as she appears in the comic, i hope that's fine :smile_01: (no i don't know what's with this smirking face)

Sure, I'll offer a couple options as tribute. Savina's the one with blue hair, Nira's the one with green hair.

Nira is usually calm, and empathetic. She'd probably offer you kind words and a smile if you're having a hard time.
Savina is more aggressive. She's got a good sense of humor, but a quick temper. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.

There are more refs here:

glad to hear your art block is resolving!

This be Kaguyo from Space Pirate. He's about 20 years old and is pretty irrational. Often jumps into things without thinking about it first and then gets his ass beat as a result. This thought pattern usually comes from the fact that he's a space pirate and thinks he's more capable than he actually is. The sword he's got here is an energy weapon that he materializes, almost with a bit of a lightsaber feel to it (notice the general lack of a hilt)

You can get a few full shot references of his outfit in episode 14:

Art block sucks. I hope you recover from it. Anyways, here's a character of mine you can draw. This is Violet. She is one of my main villains in my comic and I'm introducing her in my next episode. If I had to describe her in three words, I would say she is cunning, cold and badass. If you need anymore references just let me know

Greetings! I'll give you the main cast of Menmar! Draw whoever takes your liking! Please tag me so that I can see! <3

She looks AMAZING, thank you so much! :blue_heart: And a mage's eyes only glow when they're using magic, so this works perfectly.

I love her smirk, that's exactly how she'd look if she were teasing one of her comrades, haha.

This is amazing! Love the way you drew her. Even without the colors, it still looks great

Bryson Greene, who's a 19 year old guy. He's sort of a cross between a feline-like creature and a boy (don't think furry). He's got large, feathery wings colored in shades of cream & brown. Bryson has raven-black talons and amber eyes, with a long scar that runs from the top of his forehead, over his lip & eye, and down to his chin (acquired from a gruesome fight with his step-brother). He has a number brand on his left shoulder, which is meant to mark his joining in what I like to call "the organization" (a large group of people who hunt and eliminate grotesque members of society). Bryson has dirty-blonde hair that is littered with some un-pigmented, silver strands. Bryson's also an emotionally distant and aggressive individual.

(Sorry I just can't draw well, and all of the reference images don't include enough and are kind of crappy. I mainly write about my characters.)

This is the character I got drawn for my work, Ryatt Drakel.

I'd love to see a younger version of him to match the early series. A buff pre-teen with hazel eyes as deep as stars that emit a dim scarlet glow. Ideally, he should be holding his arms out wide as if he's casting a barrier spell. A powerful attack could be wrecking his surroundings but the area directly surrounding him is untouched.

I'd pay for a quality image along those lines.

i rarely draw older characters, but decided to take this challenge

anyway, it seems my artblock hasn't been cured - seems like there's more to it than just not knowing what to draw, unfortunately - but it felt good to spend some time drawing so whatever...

I rarely draw older characters

Same tbh :joy: It's been an interesting learning experience having an older main cast member.

She looks really good, thank you! hopefully you're able to ascertain more about what's causing your block soon D:
