I doubt it's rare for creators to come up with better ideas the more they continue to write. The first draft of what was going to be To Kill a Mockingbird was completely different from the final product. I think that's fine, writers have the right to change what they do as they see fit.
But posting on the internet is different because writers can easily edit, change, add, and substract new things or parts when they come up with better ways to write things, which could get very cumbersome for readers trying to keep track of everything. I'm guilty of this, I abandoned my very first draft that I was posting here midway through to start a new one. And I'm already thinking up a new draft for my current one that I may or may not start.
How should we approach starting a whole new draft like that in a place like this? I'd hate to delete or drastically change already posted episodes, but I also don't want to flood my profile with tons of former and current stories.
