Seeking Advice on Chapters

Hello,
New here.

I am about to start posting my first work here, but I have a question. I've seen some answers similar before, but I have a more specific question.

My first novel is already written so I have content for about half a year depending on how I post and how often. It has 30 chapters with about 3,000 words per chapter. Each chapter has roughly 3 sections that are around 1000 words each.

What would be better? Posting the full 3000-word chapters once a week or breaking down the 1000-word sections three times a week.

Seeking advice from veterans here

Also, I have 4 bonus chapters that follow an important character that won't reappear for awhile and the chapter lengths are similar.

Hello and welcome to Tapas!

More frequent updates would be a lot better in terms of getting you more views. The more active a story is the more likely it is that it'll rank high enough to catch readers' attention. Also, Tapas has a word limit for chapters so you can't post anything over 15k characters, so about 2,500 words.

i'd suggest 1000 word sections. reading 3000 words in one sitting would be a lot for many people. but Tapas standard guidelines for chapter length is 1500 words per chapter

More frequent, shorter chapters may help drive engagement, and give people a few updates a week to look forward to.

If anyone is interested, my first three section (full chapter!) will drop on Saturday!
