POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED
Hello. My name is MagerBlutooth. I have been working as a freelance artist for about four years, though I've got a great passion for storytelling as well. I spent most of my early years as an artist working on a fancomic, and after finishing it I decided to move into some more original works. My focus has always been on making artwork and stories that straddle the line between reality and fantasy. I like making things that are cute and endearing but with enough complexity to warrant investment. I like stories to have a certain degree of innocence to them, even when they get dark.
This past year, I drafted up 5 chapters of my first original webcomic, to create a proof of concept and get a general idea of the workload. In 2022, I'm looking to create twice as many, bringing the total number to 15, at a pace of about 1 chapter per month. I concluded that I will need assistance if I'm looking to keep up such a pace without experiencing work overload. As such, I'm looking to hire a collaborator or two that can help me meet my deadline without experiencing a drop in quality. I'm not making any money off this project at the moment, but I don't want to bring anyone on without proper compensation.
Project
To start, here is a link to my story, to get a sense of the characters, art style, humor, etc. I should give you an idea of whether you'd be interested in this project or not. I'd give the story a PG-13 rating for mild language, dark humor, and blood.

Here's a brief synopsis :
In a world where humans have the ears and tails of animals, an antisocial dog boy seeks to get a hospital room to himself by acting like a creepy psychopath and scaring away his roommates. However, after his efforts get him paired with someone as crazy as his persona, he suddenly finds himself saddled with a little wolf girl who refuses to leave until she kills him...and also wants to be friends.
The objective is to complete 10 chapters by the end of 2022. This means I don't have hard deadlines throughout the year, but maintaining an average of one chapter per month is my aim. Each chapter is about 60 panels long, so I'm looking to maintain a pace of a bout 3 panels per day, to give me enough time to write out and edit the script.
Jobs
My current comic-making process looks like this:
Scripting -> Storyboarding/Paneling -> Sketching -> Inking -> Typography
In order to adhere to consistency, I have to handle the scripting and sketching stages myself. I foresee the other three stages being where I could use assistance. If I could get someone to help me with the storyboarding, paneling, inking, and/or typography. If you can help with any of these, it should help alleviate my workload so I can take care of the rest. I'm working on a budget, so I'll be looking to take on as much assistance as I can afford.
Do note that the finalized work I do is in vector graphics, so helping me with the inking might be difficult if you're used to using raster. I would need to make sure there are no issues with image quality, since raster cannot be scaled up like vector graphics can.
In addition, I'd be interested in hiring an editor to give my script a sanity check, looking out for things that contradict or seem confusing. I do my own proofreading as part of setting up the typography, which adds to the time it takes for me to make each comic and increases the odds of human error while I'm juggling all of my other duties.
