Hello yello! MagerBlutooth here. Artist, writer, programmer, and player of games.
I spent about 6 years writing a My Little Pony fancomic, mostly just for the sense of accomplishment. Then I spent a month making a short miniseries based on another artist's OC that I liked. I've dabbled in traditional art, vector art, digital sketching, animation, programming, music composition, game design, what have you. Now I'm finally moving on to making my own original work, hoping to push myself and learn new things.
My current main focus is on creating my fancomic Wakeup Call, a story of children in a hospital dealing with their personal and interpersonal issues. Like everything I work on, I want it to be the best thing I've ever made. Ideally, I'd want to find a partner to work on it with, someone who can share my passion for the world and characters. The day I can find someone like that will be a blessed one indeed.

On the side, I'm working on a redesign for the board game Cosmic Encounter, making alien designs and working out my understanding of game theory. I post all of my works on my site, magerblutooth.com. I work on that at a steady pace, so that I don't interfere too much with my webcomic.
There's a lot of people out there that have this angry spirit inside them that they just need to find a way to release through their artwork. I'm one of those individuals, and no matter how much treasure I find, my quest cannot end until I get it out of me.

I can think of many reasons why a person would want to start with a shorter story as your first comic. Increased flexibility on the work, the ability to get familiar with the process and test your limits, less commitment toward a single idea in case it doesn't pan out, and also the option to try out…
1) I think it's interesting to note that my comment habits specifically toward webcomics are different from my habits toward something like a piece of artwork or a tweet. I tend to only leave comments when I actively follow the story, since my investment will allow me to provide more substantial fee…
POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED Hello. My name is MagerBlutooth. I have been working as a freelance artist for about four years, though I've got a great passion for storytelling as well. I spent most of my early years as an artist working on a fancomic, and after finishing it I decided to move into some …
My goal every year is to create art that's superior to what I made last year. Since I'm making a comic now, a lot of my focus this year has been on construction and lineart. Next year I want to learn digital art.
Seeing some great advice here. A character is designed to serve some purpose within a story, but the most interesting characters are the ones we can imagine in any number of different stories. That's why giving your character the same dilemma another character has faced can help shine a light on wha…
Purple Shades of Blood by kae. Intense Difficulty Chapter 1-4 This was an interesting story to analyze, especially with it being the first of the bunch requested to operate at maximum difficulty. It definitely got my analysis brain running, and I ended up with quite a bit to say. It took some time…
Space Pirate by CrystalRook Arts Hard Difficulty Chapter 1-5 Due to the uneven length of the chapters for this comic, I read chapters 1-5 for the purpose of this review. It felt like a natural stopping point and gave me a decent understanding of the comic’s style and writing to provide some genera…
Akomen by j0n0 Hard Difficulty Chapter 1-4 Since we’re upping the difficulty, I will cut right to the chase. This story is chaotic. Chapter 1 throws us into this vast world with all of these characters that keep popping up and then dropping out before relevant traits can be identified. I get no fe…
Okey dokey. Let’s get to work on this feedback job. I've taken some time to look over the first story and organized my thoughts. Missing Pieces by Fancy Dreamer Normal Difficulty Chapters 1.1 to 1.4 Finding a story about an amnesiac struggling to recover identity is like finding a hamburger on…
Awesome! Looks like I've got my first four slots filled. I'll get everyone their feedback as soon as I look through their stories and sort out my thoughts. We'll see how this goes, and hopefully I can help out some other people.
Hello yello! I'm Mager Blutooth, a creative seeking creatives. I've only been in this Tapas community for a few minutes, but I'm hoping to make a good first impression. I was contemplating what kind of service I could offer that would make use of my current skillset, and my conclusion was giving fee…
