I have been ispired since age 11 (I'm 21 now) to create something of a fantasy series.
I've had the idea for so long but only recently, these past three years, have I put thought into the actual plot.

What inspires me the most now would be catholic aesthetics as the main plot revolves around a catholic-based cult. I just love the architecture, clothing, rituals, and practices behind it. I've also have taken a liking to cult-related media so I figured why not?

The species for the series are based on elements but the series is IN NO WAY inspired by avatar as people have confusingly thought in the past. Please refrain from comparing them <3

This is the first book out of 6 that I have planned. I have SO MUCH in store for this and I am so very excited to bring my characters out into the world!

Here's my comic! It's a psychological horror about a mosquito cult.

I don't think I have extremely specifc inspirations, I just tend to take in small things from shows/books/comics I watch. I mainly stick to the thriller/ horror and mystery genre, and fantasy from time to time. I'd say I was pretty influenced by nbc's Hannibal (that show has everything I find interesting in a crime/murder mystery show and the psychology of the characters is insanely interesting) but yeah.

Some good old classics cartoons from the 2000's and some pretty good anime inspired me to make my comic series. I tend to learn towards slice of life/comedy; but I'm thinking of branching out.

Heres mine, another action-comedy lmao. My inspirations for this come from magi, mob psycho, murim/jianghu stories, and gintama.

Mines is an Action-Horror Webcomic
While it was an idea pre-covid, the pandemic remains a major inspiration: it's about the hero being a carrier of a virus that instantly infects and transforms others into monsters, only other carriers like himself are immune.
The initial inspiration is ancient mysticism of sound (frequency)- used as a tool for a variety of unnatural means (it's a bit of a spoiler)

The comic breaks into 1st person view frequently, inspired by FPS games and Found Footage Horror
It's a project that started as a videogame 1st so the asthetic of the webcomic mimics those of an action horror console game. The lore is inspired by Vedic, Greek and Pirates of the West. The hero's hometown is inspired by various New England states and nautical settings.

The project is inspired by Videogames mainly: Dead Space, Devil May Cry, MGS, RE, Manhunt, Evil Within and Tekken
But also films like The Thing, Afflicted, Underworld, Chronicle, REC, Mist, Creep 1&2, various Zombie films

Ooh, its fun to read about ppls inspirations

Here is my comic, and the first inspiration for this comic, or well, the djinn character was the anime MAGI, I just sat down and started doodle him and then a little story started to grow from that and tadaa - today Im drawing this comic

But ofc just the fantasy genre in general is something I love and the long pointy ears is something I just cant stop myself from drawing

I tend to get very inspired by the current comic/cartoon/anime/movie Im into at the moment

My comic is about kids with magical powers attending an alternative school.

My inspiration was growing up as someone with an IEP as well as knowing kids who attended alternative schools. So part from my own experience and part because I generally have an interest in child psychology. They have magical powers because I grew up watching Naruto and Avatar the Last Airbender and I just liked this idea of a world where people have powers.

I also just want to write about unusual people because I am an odd bean haha

I was inpired by the korean grim reaper, who isn’t a death bringer like in western culture, but a guide for the souls to the afterlife. The grim reaper itself don’t judge and just helps the souls to go.
