Hey everyone.

I'm pretty excited about being able to publish novels and such on Tapas; and I just wanted to let you guys know that I started uploading some short stories.

The first one is called "Mind Games," where a family discovers their son having telekinetic abilities and what he's been doing with them.

I'd really appreciate it if you guys checked it out and--if you guys wants,--subscribe to the story!

Let me know what you think! ^_^

Are you guys into short stories? What kind of stories do you like?

I'd love to read them, but remember your forum account isn't connected to your main Tapas account. How about shooting some links so that we can find them easier?

To answer your question, as a short story writer I love them. I mostly write horror, but I prefer to read mystery and sci-fi.

It's kind of hard to explain--but it's essentially writing a novel without a bunch of exposition. My method is to put in clues about the characters sparsely to keep my readers guessing.

Try to keep the plot focused on one specific thing. There isn't a word limit for a short story, but with the collection I'm writing, I like to keep them under the length of a novella.

Hope that helps! ^_^
