Not telling. I'll tell you this. There are three Korean characters who have debuted in the story so far (Kattar, Jinho, and Jun) and one Dominican (Etan Sosa.)

for me its basically every character because it takes forever for my pilot (Cyberspace Daredevils) to get drawn lmao. thankfully i can still write ahead while my artist is drawing the pilot, so I already got to write some of them. its gonna take months before we even design them tho. but the real pain is that my favorite character ever can only show up on season 3 lmfao

native what XD? native American? which native American people group?

Oof for me right now it's a character I only just got to mention in my last update for The Fake Saintess Doesn't want to Save the World (Caswallon, he's the younger brother of one of my fave supporting characters the genius Princess Rhiannon), except he's already dead :sob:

I'm really looking forward to writing him because he's an excellent foil to my more angsty main characters; he's super bright and caring but also a huge brat. So he's like a breath of fresh air in a way, and he's really important to multiple other character's development and perspectives. BUT everything I'll get to write about him will all be in flashbacks and memories, which I know will make me incredibly sad every time because, as I mentioned, he is dead.

what's kind of wild is that it feels super unfair to me even though this is a story I'm writing? like at times I want to write an alternate story where everyone can just be happy even though I know I never will because that won't be 'real'. it's all pretty ridiculous when I think about it

the novel he's from, latest chapter:

1 month later

I don’t know if this counts but this character named Bill Parker makes a brief cameo in my first chapter. He is really just a background character here but he becomes a bigger character later on. I’m really looking forward to writing him more as my current main four characters are all white. I wanted to make a character of color who would be complex and interesting in his own right that I could write a spinoff comic about him.

All I will say about Bill for now is that he is 34, married with a son, has OCD and really enjoys tinkering with machines. That’s all you get folks.

For me, it has to be Hecate! She won't show up for a long, long time and she's a really minor character that will offer some help to the gods to stir things the right way... But she's cryptic and funny and super fun to write! Very upbeat for someone who hangs around at the Underworld :joy:

I have two actually, since they're a pair and they'll show up at the same time!

One is Professor Eira Vexley (still workshopping the first name. I'm not entirely satisfied with it lol) She works at the Academy where my female lead, Celeste, is a student. Vexley teaches Magical Item Innovation and uh...she talks to her creations like they're her babies...

The next is her familiar, Quillon. He's a three tailed kitsune with golden/white fur and sapphire blue eyes. He tries to keep her reputation from sinking further by admonishing her for that behavior but...a mad scientist doesn't change their ways easily, you know? :joy:

For my book currently on hiatus, Antemortem, it's this guy:

He's such an asshole, lol.

Mm, seeing how my story mostly takes place on a boat there are few characters yet to really show up. Everyone important is, well, already on the ship. Bar one of the main characters: but he shows up next chapter, so does that even count?
Well, it does now:

Esmerlin.
He is the main merfolk we meet. Enslaved by a circus, enslaves by pirates, can't catch a break but also doesn't seem to want to. He's fed, clothes, and given shelter with no need to brave the unforgiving sea and fight other mermaids to keep his area of the sea safe. He isn't strong, any other merm would eat him alive. Being a pet isn't as bad as people think it is, if you asked him. He's a smart ass and struggles a lot with expressing his emotions. If you asked him he'd claim to be more demon than human, but dude really does have a heart under all the "fae-like" thought process.

Another character who we don't see for a loooong while yet is the big bad:

I only have a rough sketch of her. Unlike Esmerlin she is what a real mermaid should be. Heartless creature who sees humans as lesser, the great sea serpent who'll sink any vessel who crosses her (Not buddy up to the crew like SOMEONE.) and slaughter any mermaid that wanders into her waters. She has her reasons, of course, but who doesn't? And truly they seem petty compared to the strife she's caused the captain of the ship's crew...

Although you are an artist, you have chosen the path of writing novels

Assuming this was directed at me:
Firstly, didn't think I could get away with the sheer amount of nudity in comic form and I refuse to put sea shell bras or whatever on my merms.
Secondly, I do comics too lmao-- I'm a woman of many (two) hobbies.

That's the way it is, I understand why you're writing now
Mashalah ،This is so great , I have recently started developing my skills to acquire new talents

My ongoing comic:

A couple of my older, completed ones:

Definitely this guy, his name is Abzu Wilson and he’s Suen’s mandatory “normal” friend. They have a very fun dynamic that I’m excited to put on page, best way I can find to describe it is they both think the other is their sidekick from the wrong genre. He is determined to warp the story into gothic horror, and is suspicious of everything.. except Suen, who is barely even hiding all her sea monster transformation based shenanigans. And terrifying him on accident with her “fun facts”.
Actually, this doodle of the two is a good summary of their friendship too.

mine is demon prince Rufus
I realy like him, but he shows up later in The world of legends.

Man, both of the relevant characters that have yet to show up in my comic are massive spoilers. :l they’re also so far away I’ve barely gotten to sketching the pages with their dialogue.
