So I think one of my favorite things about Tapastic is that while account names might be taken, the actual name you appear as can generally be anything you want. This has lead to some pretty amusing notifications such as "DeadPool subscribed to your comic" or "Naruto subscribed to your comic."

So what are some of the best notifications you've gotten because of funny names on Tapastic? Or just funny names you've seen in general.

I think my favorite hands down is "Boot subscribed to City of Blank" which was sorta funny by itself, but it only got better when a couple weeks later I got a notification that "Bigger Boot subscribed to City of Blank."
Now I await the day Biggest Boot finally subscribes to me.

Yeah, I had a 'Deadpool' sub to my comic.
Which is funny because, my best friend idolizes deadpool and he hates my comic.

SO I was liek, "Everything Deadpool does is cool, right?"
And he's like, "Of course"
So I showed him Deadpool subbed to my comic. He just gave me a "FU" response.

Not on this site, but another, someone follow me with the name "A Masturbating Bear" which resulted in me getting a notification informing me that "A Masturbating Bear' Is now following you'

Because it's BL.
One day he was raging about all the BL comics, and told me he was so glad I didn't draw BL.... He shouldn't have said that :3 I started my comic to troll him. Then it got serious and resulted in getting hated on even more xD
But we love each other :3

I don't get many of those here, but, I get TONS of those on tumblr, lmao! I once made a viral post (Ikr, I'm cool) and the people liking and reblogging had the funniest names! I wish I would have taken some screenshots. It was an entire week of just notifications on notifications. I should go look it up and post some screen shots here, or bring the names over haha :^P

I was highly amused when someone named "Senpai" subbed to my comic, and when I went to thank them, they replied with "I have noticed you". XD

Also, on Tumblr, I have a fairly active follower named smelly_tampon, so there's that. ^_^;

I heard that the mash of numbers happens when people register on Tapastic with their Facebook, and only if their name doesn't have standard letters, but like, japanese kanji for example, then it becomes a such a mess :'D
I also thought it's a bot until someone explained it to me.

Judging from comments left on my comic pages I think that tends to happen when they register on the phone through facebook.

Someone subscribed to West under the name 'Jed' not too long ago. It was their only subscription. Very strange.
