Share ur sketch vs. finished piece!

This is a thread for y'all artists to share your sketch vs. finished piece, I'm really curious!
I think it's kinda refreshing to see the beginning vs end result side by side. I find that during the coloring process I start straying far, far away from my sketch, like, I'll start butchering my initial idea and add a bunch of random things haha. Share your own experiences if you'd like! Also feel free to self-advertise your comics and social media! Put yourself out there, we love artists supporting artists ;D

I am also curious to see everyone's process.

Usually, I don't really spend much time on sketching or bother drawing details. I only draw guidelines, and I follow them very loosely as you can see x3 (this is my among us fanart ahahah)

I love your picture! It's so beautiful and eerie at the same time.

I don't really like using my eraser, because I hate the little bits that come off of it after you erase something. And so, my sketches are very messy and have a lot of little notes to remind me of what the picture actually is.

But this also means I have less concrete reference to go off of, so I end up spending too much time on one part of the picture. Currently, I'm trying to just use the eraser.

(This is a really old piece but it seems I've deleted all my sketches??) For the most part my sketches are meant to guide the line art, but recently I've been making them as close to the final product as possible so I don't get confused with clothing and proportions.

This kinda shows both. One completed panel vs a sketched panel. Usually my sketches are pretty close to what I want to see. Sometimes they can be a little rougher.

So yeah my sketches are super rough. Usually I’ll follow up with general line art and then refine it to the final inking stage before I color and do shading/light.

Ashamed to say I haven't many images of my actual pencils for pages but I do have my storyboards all saved so here's a couple of pages from the first chapter of "Re:Grow"

This is the cover of the current chapter of my comic. I tend to do two sketches, one is like a thumbnail, and the second is more refined so I have an easier time with line art. But if the first sketch is clear enough I can do the lines from there.
