I hear you on the OCD, also a sucker for details on both environments and characters.
The narrative is one in which the characters and world unfold as the narrative progresses so it relies heavily on details. Some background elements in the early chapters already tease at future events while others are red herrings. Haven't been showing too much of the cast yet as I wanted them to feel suspicious when they appear. So far it follows brothers, Owen and Evan.
Evan gets withered overtime from battle. He's naturally blonde so i usually try to make his his hair unnaturally black.
Xun is a soon to be revealed MC. He's meant to have lots of layers to his design, his long hair is usually tucked under his hat so you never notice that until further into the story, the sides of his head are shaved so he can tie it up for a drastically different style.
