I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I find the album Melodrama by Lorde to be unrelatable and generic. Sure, she's still an extremely talented and skilled artist, probably more so than on Pure Heroine, but it seems like her lyrics are dealing with the exact same themes as any other major pop artist, albeit more eloquently expressed. Where the first album contained a particular brand of distanced angst, that nobody has quite managed to replicate, Melodrama contains mediocre lyrics like "Our friends, our drinks, we get inspired..." - lyrics that almost seem to be written for a travel ad. I guess there might be a hidden or ironic intent behind this, but if so, I'm not clever enough to see it.

Edit: Oh, and I prefer Digimon to Pokémon, because of the theme song.

Unpopular opinion: I'M SO SICK OF BATMAN. Sick of getting movies and shows cancelled because "We need another Batman" production. Let other heroes shine!!!!! I'm sick of the Waynes getting shot as much as I'm sick of watching uncle Ben shot!!!

Eh, you might as well watch the CW if you want DC heroes other than Batman. That in itself might not too popular in some circles.

Didn't know about Galaticbun, but I've seen this become a lot more trendy after Yuri on Ice aired since they did that on the show from time to time.

Speaking of YOI, unpopular opinion: I really didn't like it. I heard about the show way before it released (i.e. around the time it was first announced) and was super hyped about it; I'm still kind of bitter because of how disappointed I was. Not enough budget on actual figure skating scenes and the relationship between V/Y was unlikable imo. No hate to anybody who likes it ofc.

Another disease of the 1st world... Is self-entitlement. That's the driving force behind INCEL(involuntary celibacy... A more extreme offshoot of MGTOW... Behind the Toronto van attack), feminism, etc.

Even at my job where everyone is constantly passing work around and claiming it's not my job!!! Then things get backed up so bad to the point where the 7 day work week is more commonplace...

My jobs not that hard. I can work while going the extra mile to be slow and still get stuck with little to nothing to do that I have to ask others to give me more work... but when someone else does my job they get overwhelmed and it forces the company to hire 2 people to take my place when I go on a week vacation...

It's even in the Christian Church... God doesn't give me what I want so I'm turning away from God and I'm gonna worship Satan or myself or money or the countless idols the world has to offer!

Meanwhile... The Christians in China... And homeless street children in the Philippines... Would show their extreme gratitude for giving them a Bible and a free lunch (or dinner... Or breakfast)

The Squirrel Girl comic books are kind of... uuu.. Umm... Boring.
I get that it's supposed to be whacky and funny (and possibly marketed to much younger children) but you can still DO things with a whacky and funny book. From reading 3 of the books I can say that Squirrel Girl doesn't really have any problems or flaws. And she's just kind of canonically OP for the entire story with no apparent explanation, which makes for sort of a dull story. Watching her beat up Marvel heroes/villains for the entirety of the comic book (again, with no explanation HOW) gets kind of old! And the worst part is that everyone in the Marvel universe (that is, the "good guys") all seem to love her. Like some of the people break character just so the writers can show that they're best friends with Squirrel Girl. Where's her character arc? C'mon

Actually Squirrel girl began as a mary sue parody and a "take that" to people who argued too much about which character would beat which one if they were in a fight. So the point was a parody itself.

I haven`t read it, so i cant give a proper criticism, but i understand how the story can get old and rely too much on a formula if the writers dont think creative ways to surprise the readers.

Where's her character arc? C'mon

Did she at least get a parody of character development?

I never seen an ideology that's so depressing and hopeless. Yes I see their valid points of how feminism has ruined things, and how superficial society has become where everything is based on looks, and how some of us got the short end of the stick genetically because some of us are either just ugly and weak.

And then what? How do you cope aside from venting it out?

Ok I get it... You got bad cards handed to you. I got bad cards handed to me as well. I came to this world born to narcissistic abusive parents, I'm naturally weak too... 20 something times I have in street fights, I can only remember two times when I had strength advantage. I won or stalemated via aggression and improved skills over time.

Despite my bad genetics and bad family upbringing I am somehow a partial success today. I have somehow overcome the deck stacked against me!

And I swear... If it were possible to give these incels a pill that would give them the confidence of a master PUA or a "Chad" in their words, they'd turn into overnight studs who get sex all the time if that's their goal! Cuz majority of them not really ugly!!!

the new idw sonic comics are actually p good and i'm glad i gave em a chance, plus ian flynn's doing the writing and a good batch of artist who were on the team under the archie publication are back so that's a few pluses

1. Not so sure how unpopular this is but I think Kanye West is extremely talented. He's my favourite artist at the mo. I listen to his music every day.

2. Thor Ragnarok was just alright. Many parts were good, but many more were OTT silly. It seemed to me that a lot of characters were very much OUT of character, and while I get that the Marvel universe isn't 100% serious all the the time I spent most of that film thinking it was so far removed from what came before it might as well not be part of the series at all.

3. Coldplay are good and Nickleback make catchy tunes.

I love the show Ghost Adventures. I think they are pretty entertaining whether you believe in ghosts or not. I find it pretty funny cos Zac is overly dramatic. XD

As a former avid comic (X-Men) collector, I am so sick and tired of superhero movies. lol

As much as I adore the other two, they taste they same for me (I know they're not the same, but they do and I dunno why XD). On the other hand, Dr. Pepper has a more distinct vanilla taste that I love.
