A recent post here on the forums was asking if a comic needs to be in color to be successful, and while people are certainly immediately drawn to color, there are also a whole slew of amazing black and white comics out there that I would love to draw some attention to. So share your favorite black and white comics!
My personal favorite is Heartstopper. I love the art, the story, the character development... Everything!
Here is my favorite comic of black and white on Tapas, too bad it's not continuing anymore but you can take a look at it.
Awesome thread, I was actually thinking about starting something similar!
One of my favorites are this (link below). It's a bit of a retro style that I love, amazing and detailed art.
My comic is also in black and white, but I don't feel comfortable sharing it as "my favorite".
@allenT's "Maor":
@a.g.meade's "Soulbound":
Soph's "Sparks":
@sammymontoya's "Say the Right Thing" & "Strange + Wild";
Cassandra Calin's "Cassandra Comics":
There's probably a ton more, but this list would get super long xD
Allow me to spam a bit.Some are my favorites, some are not in my subscriptions but have great artstyles.

I love B&W comics, they can look really nice, and be so simple yet so detailed!
^This one hasn't updated in a while, but I still love the style.
There is also Prague Race.
Also on the hellsite, Webtoons: ^This one has spots of red due to the theme revolving around blood, other than that it's B&W.
Definitely those two :
and
Amazing art, amazing stories Both comics started years ago so the art changed a lot and you can see both artists managing black and white better and better over the pagesThey have a lot of followers so maybe you know them already though
Ooh, one of my current favorites is Curse of Crooked Mile. The art and writing is fantastic, I'm always surprised it's not incredibly popular yet. Also, to self-promote a little, my own comic Nowhere, South Dakota is in greyscale. I'm glad people are giving love to comics without color!
Aside from a couple already mentioned~
āAvialaeā by Lucid is a really good one (and completed!)
I really enjoy B&W comics cuz they feel timeless and are easier on the eyes sometimes lol
here are a few i've really been liking! (mostly comedies)
Iāll just add these to the list:
Next one uses greyscale:
Read next one on phone is better:
