Thanks! The hair actually didn't take me long. I just used many strokes, but constantly changing the brush strokes, moving to a new layer, and making the color a tad bit brighter was annoying. Haha too much work! But I love the way it turns out when I'm finished, so I put myself through the torture of doing these little tasks. The moon was mainly the thing that took me forever though since I had never drawn one like this before. It was always just a circle in the corner.

Are the images royalty free?
Yeppers. Everything on pixabay is in the Creative Commons, no attribution required, free for commercial use. The site could be designed better for easier navigation, but I haven't found another site with creative commons stuff that meets this quality. I do screen shot the license whenever I use an image.

So yeah I added font to my cover and boy do I like how it turned out. Again the art was done by KIRSCH, but the gold lettering was done proudly by me. I take what I can get.
Another new banner I made. Chunked the last one because of readability.
@GoneForever I actually got some more opinions on it last night and a friend helped me with my banner. After that I thought my cover needed a rework too.

Mm. The font's kinda's kinda hard to read with all of the background colors imo. Nice start, tho!
Thanks for telling me! Both of them or just one? I'm pretty sure you're talking about the banner. Man, that one gave me so much trouble, but I wanted all those stars up in there.

Ah, the banner. The most important thing is readability, so maybe consider loosening up on the stars? Might be just me, tho.
I agree with @spicy_sweets about the font on the banner, but it's not too bad =) We all have to start somewhere when making graphics. The more you practice, the better you'll get.
