There is a place for sharing novels, but I couldn't find a place where people can share short stories. So I'm creating a new thread. Please feel free to tell me if I missed it, though.

In this mini-series, I've finished one short story, and now I'm working on the second one. I expect there will be three to five short stories in total, depending on how it develops. It's told in relatively short chapters of under 500 words each.

This collection relates the story of two women living in a near-future dystopian America. There's a strong romance arc as well as a strong dystopian sci-fi arc. The romance is gentle, not heavy-handed.

I once made a 2nd pov short story before because I simply wanna try doing a 2nd pov story. It stared last year, actually, and I finished it last Halloween. Me procrastinating for life... ;v;

Oh. My. Word.

I'm such a doofus. I got so focused on the word "novel" in the upload category that it literally never crossed my mind that we could also upload short stories. THIS CHANGES SO MUCH!

I can't wait to check out all these short stories here! I feel like every time I come onto this forum, I find something new and awesome.

Did a short story set in the same universe as my webcomic The Power of Stardust.

It's about a superhero called the Black Terror and how he mass produced the drug that gave him his superpowers to give the US a superhuman army during WW2 and about how decades later the world has changed drastically from what he had known. It's a story about age and reconciliation told through the symbols of superhero stories.

Well, it was meant to be a short but it's 8k words long, haha.

Here I have a quick 500 word story about a seahorse trying to save her reef. It was a submission for a national geographic writing contest based on an image they provided.
