I'm glad you found a healthy way to deal with such tragedies. I hope you continue to do what you enjoy and that you touch other people's hearts.

I also have an idea on the back burner that I've been more or less woking on since for over 15 years. Might one day turn into a story, we'll see.

Anyway, keep going, I'm sure you'll have lots of people enjoying it.

I first came up with the idea in high school. I was in a creative writing class and was assigned to write a fractured fairy tale, and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite. I already had my 5 girl characters and figured I'd use them.

Subbed and read the first chapter. Very good writing and well handled on the emotions!

That is a good way to go at it, with everything already figured out. I wish you luck in putting it into words and finding the audience for it.

There's a saying in my language: "FEITO é melhor que perFEITO", which translates to "What you do is better than perfection", using the fact the word for "do or done" is inside the one for perfect. Keep going, you'll figure things out.

Man, me and my friends once talked about turning one of our TTRPG campaigns into a story. Too bad we never actually finish one to give it an ending (or we make it in the Runescape world and we must worry about copyright hahahahahaha).

That happened with Lovecraft. But on his case, they were nightmares. Kinda wonder how bad if his writing is what came out of it.

Anyway, glad to see you converting it into a story. Keep going, you'll be great.

Oh yeah, I also like Isekais. In fact, one of the reasons I did The Ascendant's Path is to see if I could make a more interesting one, instead of "self-insert gets overpwered where every women is out for his affection".

It gets tiring after a while.

Chion and Kobi is a slice-of-life that is my debut webcomic. It's a passion project that is inspired by my middle school life in early 2000s Maine. I made this comic to hone my cartooning skills and recreate my preteen years. It feels like I'm so back in my middle school years that I played music I listened to back then. The comic is also inspired 90s and early 2000s slice-of-life cartoons/anime including Doug and Hamtaro.

Elven Crusader is a epic fantasy that is inspired by every movie, game, comic, and anime/show I watch/read from Lord of the Rings, Disney animated films, Legend of Zelda, Star vs The Forces of Evil, and cinematic epics (Gladiator, Last of the Mochicans, Last Samurai, Kingdom of Heaven). I took all those inspirations to make my own take on the fantasy epic story. The characters from Elven Crusader is based on a elf character I made back as young teenager. Another reason is that I wanted to make a comic that is a callback to 2D animated films back in the 90s and early 2000s (Disney or non-Disney) I saw as a kid.

When I started writing my stories I didn't take it seriously I was only doing it for bordem then one day someone said they enjoyed my story. I enjoy it dearly

Well I thought about it.
I write down chapter basics to plan for future.
Then I write the story.
Lastly I edit the story.
An when it comes out and I lesson to it on the audio and I don't like it zi may change the wording!
