Omg your style's amazingly adorable I am in love!!
Unfortunately the story is not my genre so I can't assure you I'll be constant with reading but I made sure to follow you!

Thank you very much for your feedback, I love drawing backgrounds, but it takes me more time than what I'd like to do, so I sometimes just rush it and don't actually pay attention to perspective (mostly when it comes to tables because I am lazy T^T)

You look like you're extremely skilled and can master the use of colour so yeah... I am totally a fan! Your chapter seem to take ages to be drawn though... how much do you spend on each (on average?)

Your comic is so cute T^T and I really appreciate the commitment! (Also your handwriting is neat ^^)
As an advice, try redrawing the lineart with a black marker or pen because the lapis you're using doesen't provide a good contrast to the grey-blueish colour of the paper! (If you don't want to stain the back of the page, you can also try to use a softer pencil such as B4 up to B6 which appear darker on paper)

Okay so! Thank you very mich for the feedback... I assure my biggest mistake when it comes to anatomy is the fact thay I do draw extremely lazy sketches underneath and then I do not take the time to draw them better. For example, I do recognise that Dominic seen from behind while opening the door to his comple (2.1) is horribly drawn but also Noah's hand and thumb in the last two panels to (1.3) are hideous
The fact is that sometimes I get really frustrated with my drawings and sometimes I just say "to hell with this, I'll come back to it later" so yeah... I promise those terrible mistakes will be redrawn in a near future (I am also taking advantage of the fact that Tapas allows you to edit old chapters and that is so useful...)

Regarding to your comic:
The fist thing I have to mention is that you improved a lot in these nine months it's insane! The lineart (which is a part of any drawing I am always very opinionated about ahaha) is extramely good, and regarding to the colouring I love the palettes and also the kind of watercolour shading! If there is a thing I noticed is that sometimes the positiong of the facial features or proportion of the head (expecially of the bald guy) is a bit off... another thing I feel a little uncomfortable about is the fact that there's no presentation to the characters whatsoever and I can't tell if that's intended or not.
Anyway the concept is interesting so I'll be sure to stick around for the next update 'cause now I'm curious 🤭

lol I understand that feeling. Usually if I feel that way it's probably time to scrap that sketch and redo it. Sometimes finding a reference or approaching the panel or scene from a different angle helps. Not always though XD and I do still fall into that sometimes. Some pages I just can't look at anymore Unlike you, I make no promise to going back unless I publish in print lol If I allowed myself to do that then I would spend all my time redoing things and never work on new pages! As someone that's had many works die in revision hell.

Thank you I spent the longest chunk of time working on studying how to make my lines better I definitely agree that sometimes the features or proportions are off. It's something I'm working on. I've been trying so many different things to get better I think part of it is the dust still settling and another part is just me not being as consistent as I would like to be just yet. As far as the presentation, that's a problem I've also noticed and am working on figuring out how to better. I focused so much on anatomy and didn't realize until after that I had put no effort into blocking and how to frame a scene so all the characters are just sorta there, Except for a few scenes that stood out to me. I don't have a natural creative eye but I'm trying to work on at least training it up to make scenes more interesting when we get to Chapter 1. So it's unintended and I appreciate you reminding me of things like that to keep me honest and my focus in the right places. Still working on the coloring lol I have a few different methods I'm trying out. I haven't quite decided where I want it to be. I just started getting fast enough that I can do the shadowing as well instead of just flats without taking FOREVER lol So I've been paying attention to works I like, how they color and testing out different brushes. That will probably be a bit of time still before I settle down on that but I'll get there!

I'm glad you like it I'm excited to work on the next Chapter now. It's going to seriously test me in some new ways regarding perspective and architecture. But that's the fun of it!

I can't say for sure how long I spend on each page because I draw them in batches, I spend around 1-2 months to sketch all the pages of each chapter at once, then about a week to finish 2 or 3 pages (which is the size I do for each update here on tapas). But I have a friend who helps me with the colouring, I couldn't do it in time without her! xD

Since SL is in fact my first comic I am focusing on keeping it simple... It's true I really love the warmth and support but I wanted to start something that as a student wouldn't be too intricate (although I also have other stories in mind) to prove myself I'm not a quitter...

It's a good start, just try to keep in mind that each chapter is a different situation, it could be an hour, a day, or a week, you are starting good, but you can improve in that. Don't ever give up!

I love your art style! The variety between the design of each character remind me something of... pokemon? Could it be?

You are one of the few relatively new artists that I've seen using colour in a mindful way so that's bonus points ^^

I think the part that explaines how the "universe" in which the story takes place is too long...

Sorry, when I created that chapter I just thought in that moment "It's just an introduction, so people can skip it if they want to go right to the story" especially because the last time people believe that they were humans and they were asking how they got their powers and stuff, so I create that chapter as a side note.

As far and unclean lines go, it probably the under-sketch from the non-photo blue pencils not disappearing properly. I draw traditionally, but edit some lines here and there in the computer. I have not noticed it as much, but I will keep an eye out. Thanks. As far as secondary characters, maybe parents, or co-wokers, or teachers, or class mates. I had a similar thing happen to a friend of mine (although it was a friendship not a relationship) They isolated her, and as her roomie, had no idea because she would do nothing but sleep and go to class. (should have been a red flag if i knew better back then) I think the only reason why she was able to get out of it was because on her one thing in which she would not give up. dnd. And the people she played with. although I only know as much as i have read so far, i think maybe they library is a sort of save haven for your character, so maybe adding more of the library staff. If you are looking for people to create connections I understand the isolation feel you want to create. but another way to do it is a lone figure in a crowd as well. There are a few option you can take. but like i said, i like the minimalism.
