Mine is a novel. I'm an avid lover of shonen as a gerne and I was inspired to make it as a comic at first but I'm very limited as an artist so yeah.

In a Tokyo full of demons, yokais and sadistic villains, only one vigilante is up to the challenge. Too bad she died and her predecessor is very reluctant high schooler. Chaos and fast paced action ensue, leading Kira Vermillion on a journey through a dangerous world if magic as the new Keeper of Demonic Forces.

I often joke that my series was born from loving shonen energy, but wanting it to be about girls ('cause I love girls)... So I think I shall drop by!

It got tournaments

Fighting

An old mentor

A team

Some mysterious bullshit happening with MC (spoiler: it's mental illness)

You get the gist! Here it is:

yes it is lol i don't know why it wouldn't upload on the last post but after discussion with some other friends, we all kinda settle on the blue/cyan!

I really like this so far!! I'll have to find some time to catch up on it, but I love it! I especially love how you do the environments/vibe of the city

Haven't updated mine since 2022, otherwise I'd participate here

If you like Feminist Deconstructions of Shounen Manga... :sweat_02:

No, but for real, I am legitimately a big shounen manga fan, and Errant is full of big swords, anime hair, cheesy jokes and overblown fights because of that. It's just told through a lens of "What if Naruto, or a similar hot-blooded shounen hero was an adult woman judged by the media and feeling the strain on her relationships?" Plus a healthy skepticism towards the idea of endlessly becoming more and more powerful to solve problems...

@delladz cover looks definitely has that pop art feeling, the diagonal formation of the cast from bottom left to top right was a clever idea too. Good job

I'm ̶n̶o̶t̶ A SIck Boy is Shonen-inspired.
The cast's powers are based on States of Matter (Liquid, solid gas etc) & forces that affect them (gravity etc).
There's a major Horror component as the superhuman class are asymptomatic carriers of a virus that mutate others into feral monsters. The heroes are a duo of amateur brothers, ages 12 and 21, so growth typical to Shonen exists. Started as a concept for a beat-em up, action-horror videogame so there's a power system involved

Evan (21yr old brother) represents solids, his ability allows him to calcify his saliva into various melee weapons

Concept for season 2 - the plot goes into battle royale territory
(Superhuman class out to kill each other and infecting civilians along the way)

Here's my webcomic. Really close to the 100 subscribers milestone

Hybrid: Humanity

Genre: Fantasy / Action

-

Description: A story about a half-demon teenage girl lost in a world where everyone is out to get her.

Back in the 1800s, demons invaded Earth and took a sum of their land. Of course, it starts a new era with pre-established pools of magic on both sides at war. Along with that many discoveries are made from the burning bridge between the realms.

Stick figure shonen :v

I wanna say it's like Jojo in a weird way. Instead anime characters have to learn to adapt to frail stick figure bodies. Talks about egos and all that. Isekaiers learn that they're not the center of the universe. Also themes of redemption in there.
