Hello, I'm Smalish, author of Hidden-Insights. And recently, it reached 100 subs, meaning I can theoretically get ad revenue on it. But I don't know much about this.
Is it worth it , And will it change anything for my audience ?

There's not really any draw back to ad rev, and it won't change anything for your readers.

The main thing to know is that ad revenue is a very small amount of money, and you cannot access it until you get to $25 in your account. It takes a long time to reach that, but there's nothing wrong with letting it accrue in the background.

Hope that helps!

I agree with the above comment. There isn't really any downside to turning on the ad revenue, but most people on Tapas seem to agree that the money from it isn't significant (maybe due to more people using ad-blockers in recent years).

Okay, I'll probably activate it though, just for the sake of it ! Thank you (:

Nothing to lose. But 25$ each second year is also something

1 month later

Yeah it means I can go to the restaurant like once every two years !
