Should I stop uploading on Webtoon?

Hello, I'm really in need of someone else's input here. I got my current episode of my comic removed for containing nudity. This is the picture is the inappropriate content in question.

This character is a very prevalent character in my story and will be featured a lot more than this single panel. I've already had issues with webtoon before about her design in the past. She originally had a very mannequin like body where she didn't have clothing but her body lacked detail. But that still violated webtoon rules and I covered her body with these black tentacles. That seemed to follow webtoon rules for a while but now, it suddenly doesn't.

And I don't see more I can do. I have a big buffer with her in a lot of panels. Do I have to go back to every single panel she's in and completely redraw them? And even if I do that, is it worth it because I have a very low amount of readers for my comic. I only really have a single reader who consistently keeps up with my updates. Everything seems fine over on tapas. I have a lot more engagement on here and I don't have to censor anything. I'm not sure what to do here. The whole thing is just kinda frustrating for me. It feels very limiting as a creator.

Why can't you just give her a classic superhero leotard or something? A few lines and a slightly different tone would be enough probably. Lots of artists do 'censored' versions of NSFW comics for release on more general platforms, I don't see why you can't do the same.

I mean, Webtoon kinda sucks, so I wouldn't blame you if you decided to stop uploading there, lol.

You don't need us to tell you if it's worth doing or not, the thing you should be asking yourself is, "is the juice worth the squeeze?" The way I see it, your options are, edit every single panel of this character to comply with the rules, post as is and possibly keep getting flagged or just stop updating period.

Think about how you feel having update all of those panels, do you want to spend the time and effort chaging it? Is it just a plain hassle? Would anyone really care?

How you feel is really the only thing that matters in the end.

I had a 2 layered clothing character of mine deemed nude. Shes wearing a fully covering robe and a hooded cloak. All that was showing was her face and hands.
I get most my views on Comic Fury I just funnel from Webtoons with the uncensored version there.

I guess that's a much simpler solution for a redesign I didn't think of I tend to over complicate things lol Thank you for the suggestion

You should for many reasons. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Webtoon treats its community with a lot of double standards especially where favoritism is involved and there is the issue that they may decide they own your work. If I were you, I would leave that place ASAP.

I don't really vibe with WebToon. Feels like a place where only the established can survive, to be honest. Can Tapas feel like that to some people? Possibly, but we have a forum while WebToon doesn't so we AT LEAST have a tight-knit sense of community. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If it makes you feel better check out my comic it's been up more then 5 years there hardly anything lol. I'm thinking about the same. Giving this contest one last shot over there to see if anyone likes my work or is it a waste of time over there and harming my comics. I also post here doing better on here and I also self host. If your webtoon grows you can leave it up but if it stays stuck for a few years the same you can make that choice.Over here it's more growth for comic creators. I also like the community here and the forums is awesome. So for me and the Webtoons contest I don't want the prize I'm going for webtoons to pick my comic for favorite or recommended reading if that ever happens.

Agree, Webtoon is best for growth. Of course, not the best website but that's most of every website with monetary gain. Every site is a battle of the best, even Tapas.

Webtoon is a long journey sometimes it works somtimes it's stuck.Tapas is amazing in all areas for fans, community, growth, goals met anything is awesome here.

Considering what you said about the 1 subscriber who is actually engaging with the comic - I'd say yes, there's not a lot of sense in continuing updating it, struggling with censoring and/or redrawing the already finished pages.
Although I would actually recommend to give her something that could be considered clothes like a very tight dress with deep thigh cuts, because the panels look like they won't cut Tapas censorship also, but that's up to you.
