For my Horror/ Fantasy comic, I draw several different types of character sketches. Some explain the character's look, location, and theme. While others, are story or character specific. Character Sketches help me to understand each character better and to further expand their plot lines. Here are my favorite character sketches from my series.

Main Character of the series. Shown with facts and details.

Theme for a mummy character. This one was story specific.

Main character's chaos cat and best friend. Shows traits and details.

Character sketch for the detective of my series Samuel Clue.

Car sketch for my detective character. This item is character specific.

Nasty Narrator character. This sketch shows emotions and twists for the character.

This character sketch shows how the Hell Tree is changed over time in his storyline.

This last one is a character sketch of a black kitten that is for my reaper character.

If anyone else draws character sketches for their series (comic or novel) Please share them below. I am interested to see how they help you to further your series.

Here is the link to my comic, so that you can explore my series further.

I'm actually starting a new story, and character sketches are always one of the first things I do. even though I write novels, it helps me to visualize the scenes if I have a clear picture of the characters. It also helps me get to know them better as I consider their backstory and how that influences their designs.

Here's my latest:
