I noticed that they were all very different. How did you guys decide on how many characters to put on your book cover?

I want to re-do mine but I have 4 main players in my story and I wasn't sure how many to include. How many is too many?!

Currently I am re-editing my pages to have a more comic feel thanks to the advice I took from a critique. So far, 24 of the first pages are edited and fixed and the pages for the next chapter is as structured as the edited pages.

For me, it's mostly just whatever my artist wants lol. Personally, I think it comes down to whatever you can think of to properly convey the image/intentions you want to relay to the viewer/reader. I think if your story focuses on 4 main players then it's ok to have your cover focus on all 4.
