Ya'll remember that thread not that long about a table for small spaces solutions?

Yeah. My "workspace" is teeny tiny. I'm still working on figuring how to connect my new laptop to my actual desk hook up so I can write with my ergonomic keyboard again. (ef laptop keyboards. ef them to the wind. and ef all the differing sizes). So right now my space is a mattress, 4 layers of blankets, 1 to catch feet dirt from me and the dog, a collapsible table. Storage for my traditional tools is divided up between my room and my sewing space, depending on which I use more. Paints and wet things are over there, mostly all of the colored pencils and all of the copics are here in my room though since I use them at odd times of the night and I can't always get to my sewing room after 9pm.

Zip ties. That's what my friend uses to wrangle hers.

The one hooked to the pc is fine. It's the ones hooked to the USB hub on the table is a problem

You can! I had a broken cord that was showing the wiring inside and I used toothpicks and a popsicle stick to stabilize it so it stayed connected and covered the whole thing in electrical tape. You can also use wire that's covered in plastic, like the kind that's around bread sometimes.

And my computer desk. Man! That is solid maple wood that someone just threw out! I totally picked up that free desk! My monitor "stand" is just...a tore up bookshelf that broke. XD Hey, it's working! It was also from the garbage.

AHAHA ive just moved for university so i have a new workspace to show off

the left half of my desk; the right half is currently just storage, but i have my pens and brushes just offscreen. at home i had a second monitor, so im making do with an ipad here.

my tiny library. i only brought the essentials from home, and i dunno what im gonna do when i get any more

just my laptop and tablet on an old drafting table. this poor table has to hold up that 22lb behemouth. its not too visible here but the table has a bunch of marker crust on it from when i drew with copics in middle school. the "pencil holders" of the table have become a recepticle for excess clutter.

Folding table, giant turquiose pillow for back support, blanket to protect bed, and a blanket to stay warm if needed. I'm aimed at 2 tvs (one for games and one for dvd) and my actual desk, and my heater and fan. Gotta pump some air or heat into this wee room sometimes.

i was gonna post mine but then i realised i have like four bottles of bacardi, a broken shift key, dog stickers on my laptop, and have nothing nerdy except hidden posters of bnha and like 20 Middle-Earth books.

I got pretty lucky with that thing. It was being sold really cheap (I don't recall if it was on sale or what) and it's been a workhorse since then. I was a little hesitant what with it being on glass n' all but it's been working great and I haven't had an issue with it.

I've had to move so much over the last 4 years (4 places in 3 countries) that at this stage even thinking about getting my paints, books and decorations out of storage feels like a distant dream

It's so frustrating, isn't it?
It's getting better for me because I have my own house since a little while now, but my stuff is still sitting on 3 different continents, grrrr!

I make very few actual paintings; it's mostly to add details (generally in gouache) on pastel or coloured pencil drawings. I should show those.. but for some reason I'm much more insecure about them than about digital drawings, even if the digital things I do are rather worse objectively. It may be that I did no draw much traditionally for a while. I would be more comfortable sharing new things, which should happen shortly (one of my comic extra!)
