Introducing... Hunter! Daecon is just meeting him in this image, which will be his first appearance in the story. Obviously this is a WIP, final colouring and backgrounds will come later.
A little about Hunter (and I do mean "little", as little is known about him):
He stowed away in Dion's Jeep Wagoneer as the shapeshifters were bringing it into the colony as a memorial to Dion. He is homeless, having grown up in a catholic orphanage and ran away from the physical abuse. He is very guarded as to the nature of that abuse and the reason for it (it was not sexual abuse!!!). He is fifteen years old, fairly short, and very thin due to his living on the streets for several months. He had actually been sleeping in Dion's Wagoneer when the shapeshifters brought it into the colony.
Hunter appears to be human but has some powers humans shouldn't have, such as the ability to see shapeshifters when they are cloaked. His true nature is unknown even to him, but there are things from his past that will come back to haunt both him and the shapeshifters. He will end up becoming a valuable member of the shapeshifter colony, but right now he is just a defiant little prick who shows no fear - which explains Daecon's smirk. I mean, Daecon is the king of the shapeshifters, the most powerful one to have ever existed, and yet Hunter is standing up to him like he's a kid himself.
Daecon already likes him for this.
