I think having a big wall of text at the beginning of your comic might actually turn readers away. I don’t think including this is a bad idea but maybe if it was featured at the end of the first chapter instead of the beginning it wouldn’t create a barrier for people who want to start the comic but …

Your art is absolutely good enough to start a comic, and trust me once you start your art will improve very quickly as you have to draw a lot of things you otherwise wouldn’t. There was a Chik-fil-A employee once that my husband and I instantly agreed sounded just like how we picture the MC of our comic. Makes you wonder if anyone has ever looked at/heard you in public and thought you were just like their OC lol
