your skill is epic to me, love how you balance the details and keep the clean rounded shapes. I always get carried away with realism when doing toon outlines and shading so always admire seeing other artists' styles with that bit of realism and how they get the details to work 
Yep Kite guy (Quim) will definitely try to catch an eel in a rice field, he'll try his best , although he might be scared after the eel wriggling around You're right outdoorsy, although not by choice as he usually has to help his uncle and cousin on the family farm. He's a sweet and gullible guy.
This one isn't official as it's for season 2 - Dacre tricks Quim and the other heroes. Mostly made it to capture their contrast XD

Been a Street Fighter fan as long as I can remember so Akuma beads might have inspired me from the subconscious level Was also inspired by the ones hip-hop guys sometimes wear too.
His default liquid is more like a dark colored water, he mostly whips and drowns enemies but he learns skills later to make them corrosive and also sticky. Now as you say that, I imagining Evan (Mc) being his crazy self trying to drink it to see what happens XD
