So, as stated in the post, I'll give feedback on the pages above my post!
Sorry for writing so much. Or not. You might like it. Who knows??
SAMPLE PAGE
I love panel 4. It's pretty intense and the shape is great. I love panel 5 too, because of the comedic coloring. Great effect. What I'm not too crazy is about all empty spaces. For my liking, there's just too much empty areas in the page that could've been used for the panels. Like, panels 1 and 2 are so far apart, you know? I know some people like the effect, and it can occasionally work for me on a webcomic format, but you seem to abide to a comic page format, which could be published, and looking by this angle, there is space to fill. Of course, I saw you other pages and saw you got better at this, so it's all cool! Oh, I also think the letters are maybe a little small. Also, lettering is a little confuse on panel 2. The last bubble is after or before panel 3? The eyes are guided by the dialogue, so panel 3 gets really isolated, since our eyes go straight to panel 4. Still, this is the first page, so not bad at all, the art is clean and cool, the colors are awesome. It only gets better!
CHAPTER 1.7
I just love the colors here. Pretty cool. I like your comment and think you really did make it easier on the eye. The color of the gutters in soft and nice, it's better than the last one, certainly. Also, no negative gutter space, large panels take the page, niiice.
Word size is still a little too small for me, but only for the MC. The king dude is fine. A simple, cool page, done right. Good composition. I do think you could've mirrored the last two panels a little more, it would make for a cool effect. The way it stands, MC is too on the side while King is in the middle, making the balance of the scene a little off for me. Still, really clean work, awesome.
CHAPTER 1.12
Panel 1 is just plain gorgeous, yo. Everything works perfectly, from the angle to the coloring of the blade. Just a great iconic panel, as awesome as it should be. Congrats.
I'm not so hot on panel 2, but I can see the effort, so it doesn't bother me. Also, panel 1 is too awesome. Panel 3 is a little bland, but necessary. I wish you would've used a different angle, something closer. Dialogue is not that long, so the negative space was not all necessary to me.
That said, panel 4 is another goodie. Lightning here is sharp as heck and the monochrome works wonders. It's atmospheric, narrative, it looks great... Great job!
Honestly, in a page with lesser panels, panel 3 would earn a pass for me, but in between two great panels, it stands out. It suffers from comparison, panel 1 is just so great!
CHAPTER 1.18
Now that's more like it. Another great use of space. In it's whole, this is the one I like the most. Panels 1 and 2 are dynamic and cool. I really like panel 2, it's busy in the right proportion. Also love the layout for panels 4 to 6. It really sets up panel 7, which just works so fine. The scream is great, I love the ''shadow'' the blood creates, it's a great effect. The only thing I would criticize is the transition between panels 4 and 5. I would've liked to see more action lines. It feels more like the camera turned than she did, so it gets this weird shot reverse shot bad effect from when you skip the camera axis when shotting something (movie student bullcrap). Still, it works because of what I think it's a strong sense of design from the page layout.
After all, the evolution from the page to page is clear! It's awesome to watch an artist's evolution, so it was fun. Each page was better than the last. I can only guess you'll get better and better! If you didn't, please comment the pages of the artist above! Let's keep this alive!!
