It's great to see your process! I'm glad I'm not the only one inking manually onto pencils.

I do this way for a long time it's a habit. I like using HB or H for penciling, they don't easily smudge.

I always use HB since that's what comes in mechanical pencils cheaply and I lose my pencils too frequently for anything nicer. Does H erase better than HB after inking?

Well, H is a bit harder to erase but I never pencil them hard anyway. Go for HB it's more versatile.

Today I disposed my 4 years old unfinished villlage reference model after getting dust & mold in my tropical climate.

Was sad about it before but today I knew what I had to do. With this size it's a hassle to store it properly if I I have to redo it I'll make a smaller one. Don't need the model anytime soon, I already used it for the recent pages. Taken many shots in different angles before breaking it apart.
