Just so you know, as I haven't commented so far, I love those little bits and bg-info about your story
Thank you! If you're into extra stuff too you can read MAOR:extras
A milestone after 4 weeks on Webtoon.
Made a pocketable sketchpad for gestures needed for comic.
A small drawing of my avatar offering homemade small-sized comic volumes for this upcoming CNY. Chinese version only, extremely limited with only 3 copies @wolflu66ζθθΆ£εοΌ Edit: offer has ended.
@allenT Looks good. What platform will you be selling the digital version on?
(post withdrawn by author, will be automatically deleted in 24 hours unless flagged)
None. I was offering homemade printed volumes (currently halted)
Halting my comic to draw Pue Pue to be framed on my wall (character from MAOR extra chapter)
Still the digital draft retains the better expression (look)
to be continued...
Next will be the vivid orange backdrop & final touchups.
The orange BG is a tad too dark and rich than I expected, now it overpowers the subject, makes him look dull & less saturated. (photo can't capture the vibrance of deep orange). The zebra's left mane hair (on the yellow backlighting) is thinning out. (will need to remedy it later). Water(poster-)coloring is never an easy task for me, but this one is still easier that what I've done before with the poster arts.
Maybe some black inks will help him stand out better?
I would try dull brown colorpencil later. Thanks!
Maybe just make the background darker instead, and that might actually help the character stand out more since they're getting lost in the background right now? I know changing it this way is pretty risky though XD
Finished! I doubled down on the yellow-- deepened it to match the orange, added a bit of brown on little parts & called it a day!
Now, my calm blue room fills with ENERGETIC OPTIMISM for the new year~~
Happy Lunar (horse) New Year to y'all
Looking good! Happy fire horse year!
Thank you~~~ you too!
Sorry, it's still WIP but I swear the finalized page will look much better.
