Side Story, HELP me decide :cry_01: [POLL]

So I’m not actually tell what I’m gonna add but I’m at the 16th Chapter of my Lightnovel and 2.2nd Chapter of my Comic.

And I got an idea for a side story, which actually explains why Seth wanted to win no matter what & ended up even cheating 3 years ago in the Beta Test of the Knights & Mages Online . (+ why their parents are divorced)

The problem is, this side story probably has to go to the middle of the Chapter 3 and will take up to 2 extra Chapters, maybe 3.
Comic-wise? No problem.
But I’m having doubts adding something this important in the middle of my Lightnovel and change the Chapter Numbers.

Should I add it anyways?

Ah okay. I'd say go for it! (Though why I voted first before asking I have no idea lmao) but here's a flashback tip for you since it seems you've got a pretty long flashback there: maybe if it reveals their whole past, you can split the flashback to several parts throughout the comic/lightnovel. Just make sure to add several bits of mystery at the end of every flashback episode, make curiosity a hook! That way it'll be less of an infodump (forgive me if it's not that long of a flashback and you just decide to split it into two chapters) and more of a hook throughout the story, that way as the story progresses and readers become more and more attached to your character, flashbacks can act as some sort of a hook that draws readers as they are ready to get to know your character more.

I was also thinking about whether or not should I do that but since it also came up to your mind~ Imma go for it ^^

It IS kinda a long flashback but there aren’t many parts that I can split it.. hmm..
I might just split it into two but I’ll try to split it into 3 (if I can lol)
