Social Media - How do you use it?

I'd really like to know what kind of social media all of you use in relation to your comics - I myself am using twitter for general updates and comments on current trends, and tumblr/artstation as bases for uploading artwork in general (I'm currently thinking of starting up a Facebook page, but I'm not too sure about it).

Tell me about how you use these nifty tools to your disposal, I may learn something useful considering that I'm feeling a bit doubtful about my own usage of these websites.

i use twitter for updates, nattering about my comic, and joining in comic related hashtags (like comicbook hour)

i use instagram for just showing off art in general, and link back to my comic. ive actually had subscribers come from there before.

i use tumblr generally, but also post updates and all my art there with lots and lots of tags.

I mainly use twitter and instagram (and to some extent, Facebook) to promote my comic. I post art, links to my comics and other stuff on my twitter while I post art and cat photos on instagram, and sometimes the occasional "hey, my comic's updated, link here or in my profile" (since you can't click on links you post on instagram) XD

I do have tumblr, but I can't really bother with it, it's so hard to be seen on that platform :S I usually just cross-post my art from instagram to tumblr.

Mostly instagram. Have used tumblr for a long time to. But I get much more traffic on instagram. On tumblr it usually gets buried very fast.
I have also tried twitter but it was mostly annoying.
I'm really bad with anything that can be related to social media. I may be 29 on the outside, but inside it often feels like there is a 92 years old man who lost track of it all decades ago.

Mostly just tumblr. I have separate ones for Demon House and Sarota Springs (my only mirrors) and one where I reblog stuff I like. Then there's my main art blog in which I post all my art, even my nsfw stuff. I tried having a separate nsfw blog but it was a hassle trying to decide if I should put my softcore stuff there as well and it's not like I'm producing that much nsfw stuff, maybe like one piece a month. So I was like "eff this" and now everything's on my main.

And I just got an instagram like a month ago. Slow goings there but I like showing snippets of art as well as my real life.

Found tumblr to be a complete waste of time unless you're doing fanart and ships. Original work gets buried, it's really not an art platform.

I use twitter a little but it's really more a shitposting site for opinions and random dumb stuff that happens in your day. I did managed to get some art featured a couple times by using simple hastags, but idk man.Not really a site with an art focus and hard to find art communities. Unless I'm using it wrong.

Instagram so far has been the most successful site for me, even more than Deviantart. Feedback is consistent with actual follower account and the website is very active overall. I post a lot of wips and sketches on it that's related to my comic and have a link to it in my bio.

I rarely use it to promote things because part-humblebug/part-embarrassment cuz I wrote R18 BL, but also some creepy pedo shota gore stuff

I only use instagram but like tapastic very sparingly. I used it to follow artist I liked and decided heck why not post thing as well. Its mostly filled with photography I do for a hobby and a few sketches from my sketchbooks but its not very active. Now I just mostly use it to stalk #catsofinstagram and other things XD

Just Instagram for now, because other social media platforms confuse me . IG is great for interaction with my webtoon (and maybe tapastic) subscribers who don't normally leave comments on my webtoon page, and it's like my mini blog where I leave little snippets of my creation process, thoughts and feelings etc. The little community that I've built on IG is loving and supportive and I really enjoy it there =)
