You youngsters get off my lawn. Here's something I made in 1999.

Heck, here's something I made in 1988. I'm not sure if I need to warn for it, but it contains... um... artistic nudity5 (drawn by a 1st grader). XD

And although I don't really like any of my new stuff (there's always that feeling that I could and should have done better, no matter how hard I have worked), I can't deny how far I have come:

Modified from a panel from my comic.

And that's an actual panel from my comic, although it's not representative of how much effort I usually put into a panel.

Oh, well, um. Curse my habit of keeping old art around. Er. Luckily, my very first attempt at digital art seems to have been lost somewhere along the way, but let me assure you - it was terrible.

Here we go, then!

This is the very first thing I drew on my Cintiq 21UX - ten years ago. I was about 16, and clearly had no concept of the fact that fingers are supposed to be able to, you know, bend and stuff. Also, linewidth clearly happened to other people.

Another example, from around the same time, drawn with pens and paper badly suited for the purpose:

Again, weird-looking fingers. I dunno what my deal with that was.

And here's one from a couple of weeks ago - drawn on the very same cintiq as the first example. I've got a better grasp of anatomy and shading now, and the fingers actually have knuckles and stuff - and there's some actual thought put into the inking. There may be a long way to go yet, but I have definitely improved!

The second page of my comic Rankor Chronicles (abandoned many years ago), drawn and colored allll the way back in 2009, when I was 13-14.

The last page I did for that same comic back in 2011:

The latest page of my new comic Coyote Bison, here in Tapastic, drawn and colored two weeks ago.

I've been told that I improve fast :3

EDIT: @purrlpankras accidentally replied to you, sorry!

hmm. heres abed nadir i drew a year ago from a reference image

and this is the most recent thing ive drawn that i have saved in an uploadable format

admittedly, that abed sketch is still one of my finest moments to date

this work was done in May 2002.
it should be one of my first work ever done with computer - colors.

time pass.

10 years later, i was in the right mod to change something.
the color style technique.
and something else...

look quite similar but itsnt.

i would do the same for the comics, the gap its more visible to me, but i changed too many style (for a reason or another) so it look strange anyway. lol.

This is one of the first finished pieces we ever did of Markesha (omg her nose is killin me). This was way back in 2012 I think! Yikes, time flies!

And this is one of the very first ones of Markesha and her dad Toshi, before Toshi had a design we'd finialized.

Here's a much better (HOLY BACKGROUNDS BATMAN) version of our Markesha on the roof...

And our latest image of Markesha and Toshi is used as a Thank you image for our subscribers! I think it's a BIG improvement from that first one. Like...there's an actual background and stuff. ~leGASP!~

This is Markesha in action during this weeks most recent post.

...I should not have deleted 90% of my old art on DeviantArt a few days ago...

2011 my character Lucy's first design...
