@Iridium For sure. Those absolutely lend themselves to animation. Makes me want to cut the sleeves off my kids’ jean jackets (I sadly have no more jean jackets of my own and must simply let my children live out my past lives).

@jmassat Oh man. That’s awesome. I could just roll with that music all work day long. The journey it goes on (and the stages it inhabits) are pretty great. When the vocals kick in it’s almost like The Who had a lovechild with Led Zeppelin.

@MShadowlawn Red Flag is intense. Did you post the story based on it? And yeah, “The World is Burning” is a fun song. I like the melodic heights it hits.

@noenoh I couldn’t catch the first song because it wasn’t available in the US but “Hasta La Raiz” was awesome. I’m gonna have to look up Natalia Lafourcade. She’s got an excellent sound.

@shfra13 Right on. Youtube’s auto-generated English subtitles left a lot to be desired for RADWIMPS MV’s song, but you know what? It definitely made my mind spark to the story the video was laying out. There seems to be some real sweetness there and it was a fun watch.

I actually have a youtube series in which I do just that. Season one is finished and it's on hiatus until I have time for season 2. It's an ongoing story with four character's stories being told through different songs.

It's about knife wielding stalkers... so beware.

I also make them to celebrate milestones for my Novel. I heard this song and I couldn't stop thinking about how absolutely fitting it was:

The story for red flag was my debut on Wattpad. Then I discovered Wattpad was a worthless site for me so I took it down (alongside everything else I posted there) and haven't reuploaded it since. If you're particularly interested, I'll start reuploading it on Tapas, rough edges and all.

I found a vid of Hijo de la Luna with english subtitles cause I also love the official video (Im pretty sure you have heard this song before in any other instrumental or sung cover)

Summary

2 small corrections to the english traslation, in Spanish, they are using 2 words from spaniard gypsies language "calé" (gypsy) and "payo" (non-gypsy person) and they translated payo as peasant but it could have been any (non-gypsy) white man in this story case.
I was 8 years ol when this song was released and I was glued in front of the tv watching/listening Ana Torroja's magical voice https://youtu.be/VaTb2AtMCfU that I ignored the awkward dancer in the half of the presentation until now xDDDD

@Pony_wearing_a_hat That’s super fun. Your drawings are super expressive and the narrative strikes me the same way early MTV animations did. Whimsical and messed up. Nice.

@TalkingChalk That’d be great (Zutomayo has a super fun style in their videos). I also really love the animation in “Hated by Life Itself.” As a graphic designer who makes beer labels for a living, all the different images and art techniques feel right at home to me. I dig it.

@noenoh Hijo de la Luna is too much fun. The music builds really nicely too as the song progresses.
