I appreciate the apology. I was lucky the previous post was locked and the gay gods were looking out for me that day because I was really about to go OFF. What you said was hurtful to an entire community that is very seldom represented accurately, did you ever stop to think that perhaps those comics do well because there aren't enough of them in mainstream media so OBVIOUSLY they will be consumed the most in the internet, accessible to literally everyone?
I also think it's not fair to blame your perceived lack of success on outside factors. "My comic is not doing well, it's the internet's fault!" It sounded very bratty and childish. The one thing I tell everyone on this site, and life to be honest: STOP COMPARING YOURSELF, STOP USING OTHER PEOPLE'S "SUCCESS" AS A BASIS FOR YOUR OWN. Keep your head down and keep working harder!
The definition of success varies from person to person so to start equating what you do with what someone else does only leads to disappointment, hopelessness, and outbursts on forums. That's never good, like you saw, you alienated yourself from a community that's one of the best ones out there for comic creators and you showed some of your readers who saw your last post an ugly side of you not everyone accepts, and you also showed that side to POTENTIAL readers! Your main base of readers is HERE in the forum, HERE is where you start your growth! You don't HAVE to be nice, just don't be rude, respect everyone's comics and creations, and if you don't like it, keep it moving. That simple.
Now, how can you improve? That is simple and I already answered it, keep working, keep asking questions, respect the people in the community, stay engaged with your audience or at least fellow creators here on the forum, LINK your comics to your profile here in the forums. Most people are lazy to go on another website and look someone up when all you can do is just have the link in your profile so people just do two clicks and they're there, you know? Also your website is a little tedious to navigate, so try to improve on that aspect as well if you are going to have it linked in places. Remember that it's all about accessibility and user interaction, keep it simple.
I don't want you to feel attacked because honestly that's not what I'm doing, I am glad you realized your mistake and I hope you learn from this little bump on the road. People here forgive pretty easily if they feel you mean it, so keep it positive!
