Hi there! I totally understand that getting proper feedback/proper criticism on your work can be really difficult on this site or any other, especially if you have low self-esteem, have been diagnosed with autism, social anxiety disorder, ADHD, and other kinds of disorders.
However, I think an extremely important way of getting proper critiscism that doesn't permanently scar our egos is in how we ask for it. I have really low self-esteem (getting better with age, I'm blessedly getting to the point where I don't give a flying hoot what anyone else thinks anymore which is a GREAT age to be at) and awhile back, I asked something really similar to what you asked on your previous threads: It was something like, 'would you read this story past this point'? And almost everyone on the thread said 'no' XD. At the time, I was devastated, but looking back on it, it kind of just makes me laugh for several reasons which I might get into, but we'll see.
But the question we both asked is almost DESIGNED to scar our egos, especially since you asked people not to elaborate on why they wouldn't read your story. But more importantly, the question 'would you read this story'? Is not a healthy question to ask because people often pick REALLY surface-level reasons as to why they would or would not read something, and therefore, most people will probably end up saying a blunt 'no'. Like, some people won't even give something a chance if it happens to be a certain genre. Frankly, the people who told you they wouldn't read it most likely only read like two chapters (which isn't really fair to the creator because some stories take awhile to get going, but hey, that's just how we tend to function as humans: We read one chapter/watch one episode of something, decide it's not for us, and then we move on). Not only that, but this question is not interested in improving the story that you have already written (the story I assume you wanted to tell because you fell in love with it and because you have a passion for it), but rather, it is more interested in asking people how they would like you to change the story so that it will be more to their personal tastes.
Lastly, this is not a healthy question to ask because you're basically being rejected several times on the same thread because you have asked a question that requires the person to either reject or accept the story. Being told that people will not read your story 30 times in a row has got to hurt your ego, I don't care how strong a person you happen to be XD.
I think a better question for you to ask in the future is, 'how can I improve my story'?. Not only does this not require people on the thread to reject your story, but it also encourages people to read it more thoroughly before giving a critique, and it also encourages them to critique it on its own merits rather than asking them 'how can I change this story so that you will read it?". Bottom line, you have to love the story that you're telling in order to finish it, so make sure that you, yourself, love the story you're telling.
Also, don't be too discouraged by the fact that you find taking criticism to be really difficult. I saw a lot of people on these thread basically telling you 'if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen', which I think is the dumbest thing to tell an artist because SO MANY artists who create absolutely gorgeous art are really sensitive. There are PLENTY of famous artists who had trouble taking criticism who made absolutely gorgeous art. Look no further than Tchaikovsky: Critics really tore into his music and he took it really personally, but he was still a fantastic artist. He couldn't handle the heat as well as other composers, but if he were told to 'get out of the kitchen' then we would be deprived of some beautiful music right now.
Just make sure you move at your own pace; if you feel like you can't take criticism at the moment, then you shouldn't feel pressured to ask for it.
Take it easy!
