yes. holding on releasing for a bit is a really good idea. when you finish writing something, you're too close to properly edit it - youll miss typos and grammatical errors, and the high youre on from finishing it will cloud your critical eye. however, getting some eyes on it asap is good - the inverse is true, and if you leave your work in the dark too long, your eye can get too critical.
