Special present suggestions / help!

Hi All

Please can you help with suggestions for a 13 year old girl birthday present who loves musicals and drawing?!

Any suggestions would be great

If she is serious about drawing, I would get her good art supplies and maybe a reference book on animation or something like that. When I was 13, there wasn't as much research guides on how to do stuff, but even as a grown-up, I still keep/reference books on how to do or draw something.

Whaat @cherrystark said. Drawing supplies can get expensive and there are so many different things to buy that it's hard to afford to try new things, from pencils to pens and different kinds of paper. Depending on your budget get the basics but then get some strange and unusual things too.

If she likes animated movies that you (or other people) know of, maybe an artbook would be nice I think production pictures may be really interesting, especially if they have comments on the process ^^

A rocketbook could be fun. You can draw in it with frixon pens and erase it all with a towel and cloth. Not to mention you can upload and keep pics digitally.

I'm going to suggest a mixed media sketchbook plus a set of nice oil pastels! I just got oil pastels for my students, and the extra arty ones are so excited.

Not so sure as far as something musical related, but maybe an itunes gift card that could be used to buy the sound track to her favorite musicals.
