Hi! What @WillowTree said is good advice being active on the forums will definitely be good for you - a lot of my initial readers were other creators (which is amazing because all the creators understand how important liking and commenting on episodes is )
I actually just ran across this post a couple days ago and still had the tab open - you might find it helpful
So, some of this might be duplicate advice from that link, but things that I’ve found helpful as both a reader and writer would include:
ALWAYS writing something in the authors note section. I go from tiny commentary on my characters to (over)sharing about my personal life and everything in between. It honestly makes me really sad when I read stories and the author doesn’t put anything there
Reply to comments. Even if it’s just a smiley or a quick thank you. Just do it. Every time. Tapas has a really fantastic community aspect to it, so anything you can do to contribute to it will be good for you.
Figure out an upload schedule that works for you and stick with it. Everyone is going to have a different answer about what works for them. Personally, I upload M/W/F at 8am Pacific and that’s worked for me. Sounds like you already have some experience with upload schedules, though
I’m going to stop rambling on, but hopefully something from that mess was helpful best of luck! And add your story link to your profile here whenever you create it!
