Starting Off Now

Hi, I've been on Tapastic for a while, and I've always thought of starting a comic myself. I finally got myself convinced to do this. I'm still figuring out what the help and such are saying about how to format the comics (I'm not technical all that much) but I'm getting it.

I've never really been in forums before, I never really see an opening for me to enter without me sounding odd, but I figured I might as well try now. So yea, hi!

Waves "welcome to the club bub" get on the comic train, do your stuff ,make friends ,grow as an artist and be motivated... talk here people are nice and give helpful advice..... i even got cookies once shhhh

Hello and welcome to Tapastic forums. Congrats on taking that first step towards making a comic.. I'm Toad-Sta-Ovn, creator of Life of an Aspie, a shoujo inspired slice of school life manga about a teenage Caucasian girl with Asperger's Syndrome living and going to school in Japan. The maximum size Tapastic allows for comics is 940x by 4000x. I generally use a 940x by 1500x when working on my comic in Manga studio. Png and jpg are the typical formats for saved comic image files. png I think is smoother than jpg. Hope this helps

Wow thanks! I'm tryin to make mine look like a traditional Japanese manga. It's gonna be a kid that finds himself contracted to a bakeneko and works at the inn she runs. And yea, I save all my pics in PNG, just looks nicer that way
