Stupid writer brain problem:

"Yeah, this music is perfect! Choreographing this fight scene in my head is so easy right now."

Song ends.

"Welp, I guess I'll never get that flow back without that music now. Time to listen to it on repeat and struggle to sync up the scene futilely for an hour before begrudgingly finishing it in silence."

If I accidentally kick the cord to my tablet, my calibration becomes off and it won't let me recalibrate my tablet unless I restart the computer.

It's one of the few accents I feel confident with (though I'm sure any actually Scot would disagree). It's my fav.

Dear secret services all over the world,
I am not a serial killer.
...
Nor am I a terrorist. Nor do I intend on hiring a hitman. Or poisoning someone. Or employing various types of psychological torture. Nor do I want to start a war.

Where the fuck is my stylus. Where the fuck is my other stylus. Where the fuck is my third stylus that I got in case I lose or break the other two on a Sunday.

My tablet keeps disconnecting because I don't know, the driver or the firmware might be outdated, but are there any updates available on the Huion website? No, no there aren't. Will I buy a new tablet?
...
Maybe. It's not like I have too many of them already.

Me: I don't do too much research.
Also me: googles the history of the bucket.
Also me: studies a 3D reconstruction of Franz Liszt closely to find out what his ears might have looked like.
...
They were swirly.

does a lot of research into historical figures my main characters are based on
carefully constructs a character based on what I found out about them
finds out random historical fact
has to rewrite half of the plot
finds new information about historical figure that would make my carefully researched and well thought out character based on that historical figure terribly ooc and historically inaccurate

Also, the amount of times I've forgotten a word in every language I know ... the thing. I mean the thing that does the thing. With the thing. The thingie. A writer I am. Very articulate I am.

Punctuation. Period.

And lastly, I have 5 comic ideas, of which at least 3 are big, long-running projects, as well as a novel trilogy, and I would love to be a professional musician some day, even though I'm already in my mid-twenties and didn't go to school for music, and meanwhile my thesis is staring at me with that "I am not angry, just disappointed" look ... but I feel like that's more of an existential thing so I'll end this here. :joy:

Resizing the Photoshop file for Tapas... then closing the window and hitting save by accident. :cry_swag:

Ohhh that must be the worst!
But maybe using Croppy might help? That'll resize your files for you and split them up, so you don't have to do it manually and can keep your files as they are.

Also I forgot the most obvious one: the amount of times I have coloured on my lineart layer despite labeling all my layers because I am stupid ...

When there's that tiny dot on a digital drawing and you start going through all the layers to erase it and just when you're about to loose It you find out that it's just that your screen is dirty :supicious_stache:

That annoyed me so much until I discovered the multiple layers eraser. I would have to select every single layer to find where that random mark was.

“Yes, the invading forces come from the east.”
“I thought the east were allied with them?”
“I mean, the NORTHeast is allied, but not the SOUTHeast.”
“But you just said EAST before.”
“...goddang it, I’m going to have to make and share a proper map aren’t I?”

I can't wear rings on my pinkies or thumbs because they will drag across my paper, or hit my pencil in an uncomfortable way. And NO BRACLETS either, for the same reason.

I'm a writer, I was looking for an artist to work with. and I found someone to collaborate we agreed on sharing the profits by 5:5 as the payment. I was really excited about it because it was my first time too. and she didn't work with me at all. she always said that I'm using right now and I have a life to live but I will start drawing as soon as I am free but she didn't in the end. and I really felt so bad. and thought about leaving the whole webtoon creating thing...

thanks for your advice, but it was a very long time ago and I waited over her for a month but when she didn't contacted me I moved on to another person and we are going to release that story as a webtoon soon. :3

brain full. too many ideas. every character and story demands attention.

. . .

-draws memes, random sketches and 3/4 portraits instead-

Ah, nothing like trying to cover up serious OOPS smudges or drips, or craftily work them into your art like you meant to do that!

Ugh, I feel you here. There is a webtoon artist I was in contact with and we sent so many emails discussing the project, paneling, payments, book cover, etc, and she just kept saying she was 'busy' every time I would follow up with her regarding moving further for creating the webtoon episode- like a month out. I figured she just wasn't interested in working with me or my project and didn't have the confidence to tell me this. I wasted some money on her but oh well, I still got some art out of it not that I can really use it.
