Support Tapastic with your footer messages!

As a staff member, a shameless ask Can you consider adding your Tapastic address as footer messages below your comics? We see more and more creators doing this already (Pigeon Gazette, 4-panel life, Useless..., Taihen, Vegetables for Dessert, Torakun, just to name a few) so thanks a bunch there.
Adding Tapastic address as part of the comic image helps us grow. When your comic gets shared, for instance on 9gag, readers mostly pay attention to the comic image itself, instead of clicking through the original link. More comics having Tapastic address helps our brand awareness and traffic. Thanks always!

This looks very messy and spamy on page by page series, so I'm going to have to pass on that.

It's all about how you do the footer on whether it looks spammy or not- you don't really need to put a giant tapastic logo on the footer. Something as simple as an unobtrusive URL to the general comic location (or to your profile page or something) at the bottom corner of the page is enough for people to notice and find the comic if they want.

This is true, which is why I'm hesitant to make my pages look trashy/spammy if they are not going to be re-blogged anyway.

Maybe on the chapter titles or last page would be appropriate for the url, but not constantly throughout on every single page. If I find it annoying when I'm reading comics then I'm not going to subject my readers to it. (especially those authors that will post their urls all over the page or even right on the panels or even over the text, that's just makes me stop reading at that point)

I was doing that already. I put my signature and the link to tapastic. I don't think it looks spammy. It's just a signature to remind you where this comic is coming from. It help tracing to it's origin if people want to know more.
I don't add it on the comic though, but just below it, to make it clearer. It doesn't have to be big. Just a small line.

i tried one of these and got a lot of negative feedback about it being spammy. A design I'd hazard a guess, something I'll address myself. the tiny tooked url not so much thou

@CyndiFoster oh it's never meant to be a rule - was simply asking a favor Adding no url, adding your own website url, these are all fine. I think the important thing is, just like for any community, Tapastic can become more thriving community and therefore become more useful for everybody as we all invite more new people to this community, and we'd appreciate any help in those regards.

So after much thought, I decided to try this out on the bottom each episode in my vertically formatted just for Taps series. Hopefully, it doesn't come across too spammy, like @elixiadragmire mentioned, if I only add this to episodes where I've grouped pages together by scenes. If nothing else, I do like it graphically (the Taps mascot and the Oops logo look well together) and in the sense that it stamps the page so if someone shares it but forgets to source it, the source sites are right there on the page. Hopefully, with this little addition more readers will be able to find Oops and Tapastic.
