Surge of viewers?

So I just doubled my viewership in 24 hours, anyone else experiencing the same? Or should I be happy and not think that these viewers are not botted.

sounds p lucky to me, but i have only been on for like 8 or so hours, even in my past comics i barely got any people to notice my stuff. not to discourage you though! thats a LOT and you should be proud that your hard work is getting the attention it deserves!

It could be a bot, it could be someone getting hooked on your work... celebrate it.

Just be happy about it! My viewers have been just fine but nothing unusually spectacular.

Could be people without Tapas accounts, or people that are pickier about what they sub/like and have nothing to say. I've found that the chattiest readers are fellow creators. A more average reader will just read it without having an account or interacting in any other way. And that's fine.

My stuff is almost always no subs, likes or comments. Could just mean my stuff is trash. Or something else. I've given up on thinking I can understand what it means. IF it means anything.....

It could be one person reading many pages at once. A one day surge doesn’t indicate overall growth unless it’s a repeated pattern

I was thinking it could have been your project being put in a featured section like "New and Noteworthy" or the "Staff Picks". I noticed a huge bump when my novel got listed in the "New and Noteworthy" section. So, it could have been that. It's weird it went back to zero.

In this case I think they run a webnovel that usually gets zero or near zero views and the "surge" was in the dozens, which can easily happen if you have one or two people read the novel through on the same day. I'd hope the "New and Noteworthy" or "Staff Picks" boost for novels would be more substantial, like it is for comics.
