I'll start off!

It's a warm day. The skies are sunny and clear with not a single cloud on the horizon. Not too strange since it was midday after all.
The sun shined on a town at the beach. People were busy at their market stands and a lot of chatter could be heard.

Over on a terrace people enjoyed their drinks whilst basking in the sun. One of these people was a young man in his '20s with brown short hair and a few longer strands in front of his face. He has a strong, tall build and posture with grey eyes. He wears armored shorts and sandals with leather armor around the wrists.

The man sighed. It was a slow day, and nothing happened so far. He sipped on his beer.
"Even though i came here for my holiday, this town and it's people are slower than a desert tortoise. If only there was someone who could get me out of this slump though..." the man said.

Greer had come in on a vacation. She needed time away from everyone and everything. She just mentally braced herself for the misgendering. Straw jawline, slightly shaggy honey blond hair, toned body from working out and working on cars... frankly girls tried to give their numbers to her more often than straight men. She adjusted her sunglasses and her jacket. The guys said they might come later but for now... she wanted to get a drink before hitting the beach. Her car had some supplies and she was looking forward to having fun here. As she looked around she went over to one of the people in the market, towering over most the people there at 6' 2". She smiled a bit. "So, need a map of the town?"

The man snapped out of his slump and looked the woman in the eye. He was kinda confused and wondering if the individual was a man or woman. The muscular guy took a sip of his beer.

"Yeah sure dude, though i'm more interested in seeing if this town has some places of interest. It was a long trip sitting in the back of a carriage so this trip might as well be worth that trip." The man spoke.

Greer smiled a bit. "Here, I had an extra one. I asked cause you looked like you have't been here before." Her voice was a bit deep, but feminine. "I've been here before with my folks. The beach is amazing... and there's this noodle shop about there that's really good."

She extended her calloused hand, from years of work with her father in his shop. "Greer Smith, nice to meet you by the way."

The man stood up from his seat to give Greer a hand. He gave her a firm handshake.

"Well good afternoon Greer, how are you doing? The name's Akros."

Akros then realized something.
"Whoops sorry, i mistook you for a guy earlier. Apologies for that." he sweatdropped.

@33rdCenturyCaveman it's a sort of activity where you play a role of a character of your choice. In this case i and @Rodimus13 play the roles of our characters respectively to create a conversation and a bit of story.

Sure thing, just pretend you are Marie and enter the scene, have a conversation with our characters the way she would speak (like we did).

Akros looked up and saw a woman who spoke to him. He was kinda confused.

"Well i dunno where the powder room should be since i'm not from this town. But i don't think you'll find it here on this terrace."

Greer glanced at the map before looking back to the woman. "Nearest one is that shop over there. They'll make you buy something first though, but they have gum for like... 50 cents."

She glanced back to Akros. "And don't worry about it. I take after my dad a lot, so I'm kinda used to it. Not like you were being rude on purpose. Now that, I woulda slugged ya for." She put a fist into her other hand before laughing a bit.

The brown haired man laughed in union. A ordinary person would've been intimidated. However Akros has seen and experienced worse things in his distant past. He took another sip of his beer.

"Fair enough i suppose.
You were saying something about the beach? And a noodle shop?
Not that i know what these noodles are, they probably taste better than the meals i make" Akros jokingly said.

"Well i guess that solves things too." Akros replied.

Akros thinks to himself: I'm meeting all kinds of odd people today huh?

Having arrived in the middle of the night Zoltan was at last doing what he had dreamed of for more years than he could remember..he was taking a vacation. Others of his kind had mocked him for the very thought of a vacation, and it had taken a number of years and some painful burns to get the sun lotion strong enough to go out in the sunlight (not to mention it made him look a weird blue colour) but at last he was here and would not be spending the next two weeks as normal sleeping in a box during the day light hours.
Wearing his new yellow shorts and white shirt with the cool new shoes (apparently now called trainers) Zoltan stepped gingerly out of the shadows and into the daylight. he gasped a little expecting the usual searing pain and burst of fire, but NO it was fine and with his toothy smile he walked with a joyful step towards the beach taking in all around him.

Greer smiled as she started to lead Akros towards the shop. "Come on, I'm going to change anyway and then hit the water. But I can take you to the noodle shop. I'm just waiting..."

She stopped as her cell buzzed. She picked it up and looked at it, looking sad. "Aw, my brothers aren't coming. Oh well... I can still have some fun." She started picking up the pace. "Come on!"

Akros nodded and went along with Greer.
As they were passing the noodle shop he noticed
a blue-haired woman sitting in there, someone he knew. But not for all good reason.

"Oh no, don't tell me that slacker is on a holiday too." Akros grumbled. "She practically does nothing on normal days already, that lazy woman."

As he passed a small shop he noticed a stand of sun glasses and stopped to take a look at them, he spent quite a bit of time looking in the small mirror on the stand as for once (in over three hundred years) he could actually see his reflection due to his blue sun screen. he still looked young despite feeling so very old inside. Hiding his raw emotions he began trying on the sunglasses starting with a pair that looked like daises that made him chuckle.....
